Ive watched this shop grow for many years and it has become more delightful over time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Its a real comfort to know that if I get stuck in a project, theyll have the supplies and know-how to help me out. The store has a great selection of yarns and patterns and the finished samples will take your breath away. They have a free yarn winding service so you can have your skeins wound into balls before you leave. The other thing that I really like is that you are always welcome to come and sit and create around the table for as long as you want. I always meet nice people, see beautiful projects and learn something new when I go in. This store is definitely worth a special trip to Bloomington.

I was visiting IU and didnt have much expectation as I had gone to the "other" yarn shop in town the day before. But much to my surprise it turned out to be an amazing experience. I found hand dyed yarn that I havent seen elsewhere and was able to pick up some more of my favorite yarn. I like to work with only natural fibers and this store did not disappoint. Maryanne was incredibly helpful. She helped me pick out new yarn and start a new project. I will be visiting B-town a lot since my son is here and I have now found my little haven. Thank you. Janet

Yarns Unlimited and the wonderful people who work there and frequent the store are a joy in my life. One of the highlights of my week is a fun afternoon sitting around the table knitting and passing the time with my friends. I consider it a form of therapy! My daughter looks forward to taking the Fiber Arts camp in the summer and I will be taking weaving lessons soon. The friendships I have made there over a shared love of beautiful yarns and exciting patterns are priceless. Come in and see for yourself. You feel happier just walking in the door.

As a new knitter I am always needing assistance, the staff at yarns are always ready to lend a hand, fix mistakes and provide one with encouragement and kind words to build confidence. Yarns is more than just a another yarn store, it embraces all of the fiber arts and builds diverse community that where relationships form between the very new to the very experienced. Everyone feels welcome once they step foot through the doors. Not to mention the selection of yarns is amazing.

This is the only yarn store I go to whenever I visit Bloomington, IN. Its a great place to hangout and knit while you do all your shopping for your knitting projects. The store is cozy and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Im seriously considering of taking one of their classes the next time Im in town. If you happen to be in the area and knitting is your hobby, you have got to check out this yarn store, its a must see!
