Hobby Lobby in Bloomington is racist and discriminatory. My wife, who is a minority, tried to return some items whose receipt we lost. She agreed to return them for store credit. She was told that the items were not in good shape and they were; we did not do anything with those items and did not alter them at all and all of them except one had the original stickers on them. The white American lady just behind her was allowed to return hers without the original sticker. The managers name was Josh Wood and the cashier was Jacklyn. Shame on you Hobby Lobby.

Seems like this place is all about minimum employees with maximum profit. Prices are going through the roof everyday and quality is going through the basement. The manager is quite possibly one of the most spiteful people I have ever met, so hateful over a return of a defective product. He didnt even want to return it and it was less than a day since purchase. This store is always so under staffed that at any given point in the day you have to wait forever in line. Im a frequent shopper of this store but the experience is become less and less enjoyable.

Laura in the framing department was so nice, patient, and helpful! My son and I brought in several things to he framed and she took the time to help us through the process for each piece. Having things professionally framed is costly, but Lauras experience and excitement through the process was refreshing and comforting. When it became busy, she handled the flow of people while staying friendly and professional and never once made us feel hurried. I would highly recommend her! I will go nowhere else for my future framing needs!

Most importantly, this is a Christian establishment. They arent open on Sundays. They play Christian music. Thats all very influential in my decision to shop there. I appreciate the wide variety of art/craft tools they carry (beading, knitting, needlework, painting, quilting, scrapbooking, sewing, etc.). Ive compared their prices to other craft stores (JoAnns, Michaels, etc.), and always have found their prices to be better. I really wish they would offer classes, though.

The prices are a little high but i understand why. The place is huge and has all kinds of stuff. My 10 yo daughter likes this place a lot. I think we could spend hours and thousands of dollars here if I would let her. They have online coupons to save you 40% off 1 item at the register. I thought that was pretty cool. No military discount though. If they had that i would have give the place 5 stars.

the products are even chipped and/or broken on the shelf. I have purchased decorations that have fallen apart when I got them home, and not even lasted ONE holiday season. You may get 50% off, but honestly, it should be more that that for the extremely poor quality of the products. tons of registers and you still have to wait FOREVER to check out. I am done with this store.

I ordered frames for an exhibition and they never came. The manager said I should have paid in advance although I was never told so by the frame department. I re-ordered the frames for the following week and they never made it. Even the few frames they carried in the store were scratched and I am happy I switched to another provider the last minute.

An amazing hobby store. The have high quality crafts and I using fabric I bought from them to make my Halloween costume. The staff was kind and professional and seemed knowledgable about thier fabrics. The prices are also great! Way better than most art supplies/hobby shops. If you're a creative person this is the place to be.

I dropped my poster off to get framed on December 2nd and it was supposed to be done today but first they could not get the mat I wanted then the frame came in late and now they dont have the glass I ordered in. I have had nothing but trouble trying to get my poster framed . I will never come here for framing again.

I usually find what I want at a decent price. They do have a problem keeping the bathrooms clean. The womens gets so bad you cant breath in there. Other than that, its a good place to get home and craft supplies.
