I went to this store because of the nice reviews, but I will never go back to this shop. I requested a quote to replace one rubber tip of a high heel and told the store owner that the other shoes tip was okay. The store owner proceeds to break a piece off the tip that was in fair condition to show that it was worn. Now, the tips on both shoes are broken. After, seeing my shocked response, he offers to fix the shoe he broke for free. After I agree to pay him for the one shoe and he could fix the other for free, he proceeds to lecture me about not taking advantage of people. Needless to say I left with my brocken pair of shoes. Never again. If you want to be talked to in a very disrespectfully manner this your repair shop.

Dimitrios provides craftsmanship that I didnt know still existed. I dropped off a pair of well-worn (and well-loved) shoes to replace the heel tips. I had no expectations for the scuffed and frayed leather and chewed up heel. When I returned, I was presented with a pair of shoes that appeared brand new! Shoe repair magic! What did he do? Re-build the pair from scratch?? The price was about 20% of what I had paid for them originally. So, for a fraction of the cost, I essentially had a new pair of shoes.

I went to this store to drop off a pair of Allen Edmonds for new soles, the service was great. I was given simple choices and each repair option was explained. Fair price and the shoes were ready one day before I asked for them. It was refreshing to give my business to a store that had old fashioned customer service. As for the shoes, they looked better then new.

This is a great place for repairs and alterations. Dimitrios is a professional and his work will please you. He is one of the few people left in the area who still know how to rebuild, repair, resole, and stretch shoes. Bring your clothes that need to be altered or your shoes that need repair, you wont be disappointed.

I just called to get a ball park price and ask a few questions. Before I new the man I was speaking with got upset I would ask for an estimate and hung up on me. Im a little confused about what just happened, my suggestion would be to avoid this place if you care about customer service at all.

Had a pair of new very nice shoes; the seller apparently spray painted them to cover imperfections. Other stores told me the shoes werent even leather. Here they realized what was done, and removed all the paint and re-stained the shoe. Came back like new, saving me hundreds of dollars.
