The first time I went here, I swore I never would go again. A year or so later I went there again, and had a similar bad experience. First, the good: Their fruit was very fresh. I bought apples, oranges, and bananas, and they are all very good. Now the bad: Though the fruit was good, it was improperly weighed. After getting home I saw that the receipt claimed that my two apples weighed a total of 2.2 pounds. When I weighed them (on a calibrated commerce scale) they weighed a total of 1.4 pounds. I purchased green peppers and tomatoes because they were on sale. If I didnt desperately need them I would have passed them up completely. The $0.49 green peppers were all wilted and banged up, but are set out right next to the firm and crisp $0.99 red peppers. The $0.49 tomatoes are yellow and crisp as an apple, but are right next to the $1.29 a pound ripe beautiful tomatoes. A bait and switch if I ever saw one. I bought a huge pack of chicken thighs for really cheap. One third of the package was chicken backs. My children nearly choked on the tiny rib bones. Thighs dont have ribs. Progresso soup was on sale for $0.99 a can. When I got there, only about half of their progresso varieties were actually on sale. An employee said something very lewd and unappropriate to me in Spanish, which I understood completely. "Chinga" is universal my friend. There was a loud domestic disturbance in the store while I was there, and a vagrant was dumping air freshener from the shelves in the aisles. Im surprised they didnt have to evacuate the store, it was toxic! People beg from you in the parking lot. Never again.

I will never buy meat from this store again!! On Sunday I went to this store to purchase ground turkey, the only ground turkey that was available was expiring same day and also there were packages of ground turkey that expired days ago. When I asked an employee to look in the back to see if there was any fresher ground turkey they said that all they had was the ground turkey that was expiring on the same day. That is not the bad part...i also informed the employee that there were 6 packages of ground turkey that had expired 4 days ago. And I asked him if he was going to throw them away. He seemed annoyed and he said that he was going to throw them away later and walked away. The next day I went to the store to check if they had a fresh load of ground turkey and it was the exact same turkey that I had seen the day before!!! And to make matters worse they REMOVED the expiration dates from the meat!!! I searched the entire package and there was not an expiration date to be found. The meat was so expired it was turning grey and instead of throwing it away to avoid getting people sick they just removed the expiration dates and still tried to sell it. That is absolutely disgusting that they would risk getting someone sick just to avoid losing a couple dollars!!!!

Interesting, a bit like a junior Jungle Jims. Super Fresh is produce + meat + ethnic (Hispanic, Asian, European) + a nonstandard bit of everything else tossed in. Produce seems to run the gamut from really cheap but requiring a fair amount of picking thru to moderately high priced. Interesting bakery is sort of randomly placed in at least 3 areas of the store. Dry goods are kind of grouped by ethnicity but without too much of a scheme, sometimes bargains and sometimes not. Limited but different wine and beer selections, some notably cheap. Upshot is read the ad, blunder around the store, have patience and youll find some groovy stuff. If you love higher end supermarkets, youll be really frustrated here. Employees are fine but not necessarily well versed in English, if that becomes tricky the manager is a friendly anglo guy.

This store has a huge selection of produce and meat, my family and I call it "meat heaven." If the cut you are looking for isnt in the case, the butchers will cut it for you, no problem. Bulk meats already ground and seasoned for tacos, etc. Great selection of breads and all staples, as well as lots of ethnic foods. The store always seems busy, sometimes crowded, and also the aisles are packed with stand displays making navigation difficult sometimes. If you want a relaxing shoppers ng experience, this is not for you. If you want a lot of selection, this is the place.

The meat department is so gross. The meat is brown and of poor quality. Alot of the bsic items that I would buy are way over priced. I can actually save more money shopping at jewel which is typically a higher priced store. The cashier I had was unprofessional. She was on her phone in the middle of every transaction. She said hi to the woman in front of me and behind me but nothing to me. I would never go back.

Dirty , small produce section compared to the rest of the store. Visited the store today 1/27/2016 , produce on sale (limes 10/$1) was beat up. Meat department is a joke. Overpriced and far from fresh. Large grocery section but a load of small papers indicating "sales" gave me a headache. Thank God for food stamps or this store would have shut down by now.

Great prices! ;check out clerks are usually texting and/or talking to co workers, (not in English), not greeting customers. Mediocre meat and produce. Mold on the produce back walls, could be a bit of concern. (You have to build up a tolerance, some how) But, hey, you get what you pay for...

Everytime I gotta go to the store, my veggies are "perfect", and it is a nice vibe to shop around. I just feel like home, when shopping. Everyone thats working there contribute towards that "good friendly neighborhood vibe", thanks for having a great store to shop!!!!!

Been coming to Franklin Foods as a kid and got to see their growth into the new superfresh. Great deals, love the tacos and great barbers with decent food prices....one stop shop
