Very good place to buy Motorcycle Accessories when planning to own a Motorcycle. I came there by chance while being in the south suburbs shopping and wanted to buy extra gear. The prices especially in the Autumn season are very good. I was originally going to purchase leather chaps from a co-worker who suggested it but I did not like how they fit. 2 of the sales people (DJ and John) showed me an alternative gear called "Freeze Out" or undergarment clothing that works for riding in the cold temps. I ended up buying it since it was on sale for less than the regular price. I also ended up buying a 2nd helmet since my 1st helmet did not have the sliding visor for eye protection. I paid less than I paid for 1 helmet at a Harley Davidson dealer which was overpriced. Had I gone here before I bought my Harley Davidson Motorcycle I would have purchased my helmet here. I would come back here but since I live in the northside of Chicago I would most likely go to the Schaumburg, IL location since it is closer. I would only come here if I am around the neighborhood and have an interest to go to the south suburbs. Anyways worth going here to buy your needs for motorcycle accessories.

Horrible hours, Small selection. Motorcycle superstore, motosport, rocky mtn atv/Mc, chaparral has um beat. Went to Cycle Gear near me, bought a rear stand and was overcharged for the wrong stand for the wrong SKU number. Always Check your receipt here!! Another poor attribute is that they hound you in there if you want to just look around. They dont care what you want, they jut need to make a sale. Furthermore, the criminal clientele that shops there makes for a poor environment from time to time(bring your girlfriend or wife and see). Ghetto motorcycle knowledge is a sickness perpetuated by pestilential ignorant individuals that want to ride for looks and Cycle gear harbors this ugly culture. Going here is a pain. Maybe one day a new motorcycle shop will come, a dedicated place with real technicians, informed staff, people who specialize in brands, and OEM parts and tools. But thats alllllllllllllll just a dream.

ONLY REASON WHY IM GIVING TWO STARS WAS BECAUSE OF ONE EMPLOYEE WHO WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. Other than that, it was my second time ever stepping foot in one of these let alone shopping with them. I went in for a return from an online order, which was gladly accepted, i decided to buy a set of gloves. i changed my mind and wanted to exchange them for a different pair of the same value. i presented my $10 off $75 dollars more for MARCH 2017 ... they denied it do to the fact i already made the purchase then decided to do a quick swap. They said it would have been accounted for as a THIRD PURCHASE. UNACCEPTABLE ! Will Not Be Shopping With CYCLE GEAR ANY MORE.

Above and beyond! The manager helped install a mount for me, the staff helped me so I could ride in 49 degree weather! All around good quality service in an area that great service is really hard to find!

I prefer the drive out to schaumburg location even if tinley is closer to me. The staff at tinley are rude. Specially if your a woman walking in w 3 kids! ... However Good prices and ok selection.
