Cliff note version best service in every department. Best price. There isnt a close second. Ive shopped here for clothing occasionally and the girls in the clothing department always remember me and catch up with me when I come in. Recently I decided to buy a new motorcycle and I couldnt imagine the experience being improved in anyway. I should probably mention I was the stereotypical pain-in-the-a** customer (needy and at times impatient). I stopped in on a Friday because they are the closest dealer and fell in love with a particular bike. I arrived late that night but Frank stayed past closing to discuss my needs. Over the weekend I went out of town and started pricing bikes. I dont know if its because I was a woman or because the dealers didnt accurately gage my intent to buy but they negotiated very little. Chicago Harley gave me the best price for both my trade in and the new bike than any of the other dealerships. I assume its because they do a larger volume than the other dealers and therefore have more room to negotiate. If thats the case, there is a good reason they do a larger volume--happy customers. Frank made sure all my questions were answered about pricing and options and stood by through the entire process. Jerry was able to get me the price I needed to at in order to get the bike I loved. Andy the Manager agreed to the price thankfully. Nick also got involved while I was selecting options and accessories for the bike. The bike was significantly larger than anything I rode before, so Nick promised me he would teach me how to ride it on one of their bikes so I didnt have to worry about dropping the one I was going to purchase. He spent about an hour starting in the parking lot then graduating to the streets. When I demod a similar bike I nearly dropped it--by the time Nick was done with me I felt totally competent riding it. Next came parts and service: Ray and Brian were amazingly patient while i made a complete change in vision of the bike when it rolled off the floor. They respected my vision despite me being a girl and then revised it entirely for personal reasons. Brian when I picked up the bike after they added the accessories I wanted honored the price he initially quoted me for pipes, and it was hands down best deal on them. He then preceded to have them installed even though they were just about to close, so I could still take the bike home that night. Karl in financing got me a great rate by thoroughly going through the options and didnt pressure me to take anything I didnt need. I wanted to buy from a local dealer so I could fee part of a group, and with whom i could have a great rapport with over the years of maintaining and improving my new bike. Nick has exceeded my expectations by repeatedly inviting me to upcoming events which means a great deal to me! I should have expected this level of service and customer satisfaction when I consider how great the ladies in the apparel department were by remembering me always. Yet the complete level of satisfaction in buying a new bike did come as a surprise. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. In my life I believe Ive only written 3 internet reviews including this one. I did so because at all times they remained professional and courteous and gave me the best deal. Also Ray or Brian have a loyal customer for the upgrades I have in mind for the future because they are meticulous about making sure your accessory choices are what is best for the bike and what you ultimately want the bike to be.

Hello, I just wanted to relay the story of my experience on the road to owning my Harley. I went into the Glenview store on a whim really. Last year my sister in law (aged 62 years) had died a few weeks prior and she was a Harley rider and devotee since she was a teenager. She had a Harley, my other brother has a Harley, my niece’s boyfriend and her family are all Harley owners. So…. I figured I better try to join in on the action. I walked in to the Glenview store not knowing what to expect, well I walked into a dreamland, where all the people were actually nice and knowledgeable. I began a process that went from just walking around and asking questions to buying my bike and gear and I have to say at this location every part of my experience was what you want a buying experience to be. I feel the people that work there are very passionate about Harley Bikes and they share that passion and enthusiasm, they did with me. The salesman that helped me with my bike encouraged me to find a bike that fit me, not what he thought I should buy, and encouraged me to take my time. The girls in the gear dept helped me pick out my helmet, gloves and boots, they took care good care of me and made me feel safe in my choices. The service guys made me feel safe helping me with warranty choices and explaining modifications I might want to make to the bike if I choose. I did not feel pressured, I appreciated the suggestions. The finance people helped me get a plan of action so I could actually buy the bike without headaches. I guess I have to save the best for last. The general manger personally helped me to get comfortable with the clutch/throttle dance. They have this thing called jumpstart, it’s a bike chained to a flat bed. You get all the sensations riding the bike without moving ( a real good thing for a novice like me who has never ridden a motorcycle in all her 52 years!) Steve spent time with me and that was just the cherry on top of the cake. The time, effort and energy that Steve and his staff extended to me made a real impact on me. From the receptionist welcoming me like a friend, to all the staff there, I do feel like you become part of a family, the Harley Family….. That is my story, go in the place and create yours….. ****Update #2****** Ill make this short and sweet, just like me ;) Dealership reached out to me after first update and I got the bike I wanted at the price I wanted. Nice to see a place that fixes their mistakes. Also, if you deal with Rene make sure you get a set of whitewalls from him! Lol Thanks guys. *****Update***** If I could give 0 stars I would! Unfortunately I just left this Harley dealer and will never go back! After being approached about buying a new motorcycle and tell ing the salesman Mike no, I was promised a great deal because its the end of the month. I really didnt expect anything but after looking around I decided I was going to trade up my 48 to a Softail slim. The only one they had was olive and I do not like the color. The salesman told me it was no problem he could get whatever I wanted. My response was ok I want black denim and lets start the paperwork. 10 mins later he said its all good lets run the credit and well be on the way. 10 more minutes and exact words "credits good, black bike is good, so now comes the hard part , price." Then he was called to front desk before giving a price. He kept coming back a forth between me and the desk and after 45 minutes I finally had enough and asked whats the hold up? He left once again and upon returning informs me he cannot get the black bike I was promised and if I didnt want the olive one he did not have a bike to sell me. Thanks for banging my credit for no reason! Never will I go back here, no compensation was even offered , what a joke! Stay far away! This really is a great place to go! Just bought my first harley from there and everyone was so accommodating. Personally, the best thing for me was how nice everybody is. The salesman who sold me the bike was great with my kids. They even let my daughter ring the bell! I would not buy a motorcycle from anywhere else. Super fun place to go and I look forward to going back there.
