I had never been there until recently. I have always been a bit of an old school guy who gets loyal to a shop where I feel comfortable, taken care of, and most importantly can trust their staff, and I had a place I went to exclusively for many years. Add to the fact they are in Oak Creek and I live in Menomonee Falls, it seems like they are on the other side of the world from me. However, the shop I used to go to recently closed and I had to find a new shop. Not having received the best vibe from the other shops, well more like stores then shops, around me I decided to give Sportland 2 a try. I have only been dealing with Sportland 2 for few months now, but I must say all of my trips there so far have been very positive. They have a very shop, not store, like vibe to them. I have dealt with nothing but quality, knowledgeable people who are into the product/sport, and they support a lot of product and multiple sports. I was pleasantly surprised that I can actually get Yamaha OEM parts there, even though they are not a Yamaha dealer. Their inventory of parts, gear, and bikes was far more than I expected it to be. Their prices seem to be the same on everything I have looked at as all the big internet dealers, except since you are buying it in a store you dont have to pay to have it shipped from some online store. Yeah there is the gas to drive there and the time spent there, but the fact I can touch, feel, try on what Im buying, and have some knowledgeable human interaction more then makes up for the gas money. A few days ago I went there with my son for him to look at a used sport bike. The sales person we dealt with, sorry I’m bad with remembering names, was very knowledgeable about the bike and the other bikes we looked at for comparison, very patient, and so no pressure it was amazing. After agreeing on a price, which we felt was extremely fair, I felt so comfortable with things I left my son to work with the salesman to fill out all the paperwork on his own while I shopped for other things. It was his first time dealing with the paperwork end of things and a very good life experience for him. It went great and he is very happy with his purchase, well more so if it were 70 and sunny, but Sportland 2 couldnt help with that problem. I just want to say thanx to all the Sportland 2 staff. I have found a new home.

I am having issues trying to understand the idea of charging 1100 dollars in extra fees for a motorcycle as simple as a DR650. I came in to your store ready to purchase, with 1000 dollars down and was shut down. First your online inventory says you have a 2016 DR650 for sale for 5189.00. It was not available when I arrived at the store. That is a classic bait and switch and is a dirty business practice. Second, 400 dollars was added to the bike because I wanted 0% financing, then an additional $485 for setup, $75 for a dealer swap and then $85 for paperwork then tax, tag and title which was still more than 115 dollars. Total comes to $6300. 1000+ dollars more than advertised. That is a large difference and strongly misrepresents what is advertised. I wish the interaction was a little more positive but this is the kind of business practice consumers need to be aware of when purchasing a motorcycle. Consumers need a place where they can build a relationship with their dealer. Consumers will return for aftermarket parts and accessories where they know who they can trust and establish raport. All because of this interaction I am turned off from making a Suzuki purchase anywhere in Wisconsin and will copy this review to a public domain as a rating. Sportland 2,I hope your sales are better when the temperatures are warmer because the reception into the Suzuki brand was as cold as a February Wisconsin day (which it was). Please rethink your 485 dollar setup fee for a DR650 (20yr old system that is carbureted, really?) and update your web page appropriately to reflect current inventory. Thank you for your time.

I think no stars should be an option! Terrible Service! Dropped off our ATV in Sept for a problem with the clutches. Unit was running and drivable when we dropped it off. Approved the repair for the clutches. Then we asked them to get a quote for replacing the recoil and repairing the winch. Approved these repairs as well. They called us to tell us work was done but that the machine does not run, possible fuel, starter or battery problem. They then called back and stated the battery and the starter are bad. Ok I can buy the battery being bad as the unit was sitting there for quite a while as we were in no hurry to get it back over winter however it did have a new battery and starter installed before it was dropped off. Upon picking up the machine the battery was not installed and when we got it pushed up on the trailer the linkage was off. Someone told us they just test drove it that day. How is that possible with no battery installed and the linkage messed up. Upon further inspection this was not even the battery that was in the machine when we dropped it off and if they replaced the recoil why not replace the cover that had a hole in it? Very rude people in the service department and no help from management what so ever. Spent over $1400.00 on repairs to get it back in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Cant trust anybody now a days there is no such thing as quality work just piss poor attitudes. Especially with these people. So save your money and sanity and go somewhere else would never recommend them to anyone.

Im an interstate rider from NY. Great fly and ride experience. Id been planning on upgrading my bike and had been patiently waiting for a deal on the bike model that I wanted. I was willing to ride the bike back to NY as long as it was an acceptable distance and at a good price. A used bike appeared in Sportland2 at a reasonable price. I called and spoke with Cory. He took hi res photos and a video for me and was very easily contactable on the phone. He made the process of buying a bike, sight unseen, a little easier. He conceded that they were not experts in BMW so could not go into detail about the bikes history and condition. I called around Milkwaukee BMW dealerships myself and I was able to locate the dealership that services the bike. Good history. I put a deposit down. When it was time to collect the bike, I flew in to MKE where Cory picked me up himself. Sportland2 is less than 10 minutes from the airport. The bike was exactly as I expected. Kevin made sure the bike was spotless. Very pleased with the purchase. Cory also followed up to see how my ride back was going. All in all a very smooth purchasing experience.

I bought a new motorcycle from this dealer in December, after wandering around the showroom for awhile I finally approached the only person I could find to ask for a salesman, as none seemed to be around. After getting my deal set up and done I picked up the bike in March, after hauling it home I noticed the front tire was low, and contacted them about it, as I hadnt ridden it, unpacking or their test ride must have got something in the tire. I didnt get any help here and was back and forth for it many times, they are over an hour from me but I chose their dealer and got nothing in return for it. The last advice I was given to get it hauled there was to call on the Kawasaki coverage I bought, essentially lie to them that I have a flat tire and get it hauled in. I was told they would call me to see how it went and its been months and havent heard from them. I ended up having to bite it and fix the tire myself since there was no customer support from the dealer or sales team. Unfortunately I chose to buy my first bike at the wrong place, and wont be returning for the next one.
