Everyday Joe

Made a simple purchase today and the key manager felt the need publicly shame a paying customer. When I held out my identification and read off my date of birth the manager ripped the license from my hand rather than use her gift of sight. When she found out that she would need to enter data rather than scan the back of the license; the manager resorted to childish retaliation by holding up my license and waving it to the store front for all the other store customers to see. Your employee was actively aggressive over the simplest data entry. Several nasty glares later the manager grudgingly typed in the 8 numbers I displayed and verbally communicated in person. After the disappointing exchange I went to set my purchase down and put my receipt away. The manager then proceeded to harass me out of the store with disingenuous "customer service." This was hands down one of the worst shopping experiences to date. I will take my business to any other store in the area; where managers dont harass and shame their paying customers. This is the worst Jewel Osco I have ever been to. The organic selection is almost non-existent and they dont carry fresh squeezed juice. I was forced to buy a family pack of chicken thighs because they were out of every other kind of chicken. I am only one man. I have no idea what Im going to do with all this chicken. When I got to the checkout lanes, there were only self serve open. It took nearly 10 minutes for me to check out. I had to go back because I forgot to ring out the jugs of water at the bottom of my cart. I will never come back here again. Thank the universe there is a Marianos close by!

I was shopping at this store last night and had a full cart. I forgot my wallet. So I asked the cashier to hold my cart by the service desk so I can run home to go get it. When I came back the cart was gone. So I asked the shift manager where the cart was. She told me that she thought it was overstock and had an attendant put it all back. She was very rude when she delt with me and did not say sorry or anything to assist me on this incident. How can they treat customers this way? Extremely wrong way to deal with customers in my opinion.

Been shopping at Jewel since I was a kid. Dont know why. Meat department is a joke. Deli people havent been taught how to shave lunch meat. Everytime I shop here the loss prevention geeks seem to follow me. I make more money than their entire loss prevention staff yet they feel necessary to follow me. Hoping a Marianos store opens nearby.

Best jewel around when it comes to customer service. Always fair and friendly. Would recommend it to everyone. If I have a issue at another jewel osco, they will fix it at this jewel! Cant beat that!

I like the store convents but expensive. Plus there cashiers need to work on there customer service. No personality and are always talking with each other and not the customer. Needs improvement.

Cashiers always pleasant. Just wish they could say "thank you". Forget the "have a nice day". There is no real meaning to that.

Checkout staff doesnt even say hello when you go to check out your items. They dont even acknowledge your presence. They suck!
