I live in the neighborhood right behind the store so I like the idea that I can just run in there if Im out of something. Problem is, I can NEVER rely on them for that because they usually are out of stock on items they advertise, but even worse is the fact that they NEVER have any cashiers available to help so its virtually impossible to ever pay them a "quick" visit. Their employees wait until the lines have at least three or four customers waiting and only then do they send a single cashier up to check everyone out while the rest of the registers remain closed. Its very inconvenient to wait that long as a customer especially since with the amount of registers and employees they have there, they could easily just have them all do their job and check everyone out quickly. Or at least put up some self-check stations like other stores are doing. In any case, there definitely needs to be much better managing of cashiers at this store and they need to stock their items better. Otherwise it kinda defeats the purpose of going there and Ive found myself wasting a lot of time there only to walk out empty-handed.

The food and quality of the store is no different from any other aldi. However, anytime i go in, whether its on the busiest weekend or on the slowest weekday, they NEVER have enough cashiers. They usually only allow one cashier to sit up front while a bunch of their employees are just hanging around the store. If the lines get EXTREMELY long (to the point where theyre getting in the way of other shoppers) they will FINALLY call up ONE additional cashier which always seems to take forever and for some reason requires the original cashier to stop what he/she are doing and leave their post therefore causing even MORE delays in the lines. Its very frustrating that I can never just pop in and out without spending at least 20 mins waiting in line, even if Im just running in to grab some milk. MANAGEMENT, please fix this!!!!

This Aldi has to be the best Ive shopped at. Other Aldi stores either have poor Customer Service or just simply have empty shelves. This one in Round Lake Beach is one Aldi you will shop at again and again. Its packed with more food and more varieties, options than other Aldi stores. Youll like this one. It can also get crowdy in there sometimes so prepare for that and also to stay in line for a couple minutes. If you went shopping at the Park City one and never gave this one a try than you should definitely do it. I live closer to the Park City one and i disregard it like it doesnt even exist. The difference between the two is immense. Go shopping to this one in RLB and you wont be disappointed.

Of all the Aldis in the area this one is always a bit messy and disorganized. For me personally any time I go here with a list of Aldi goods I only walk out with 75% of the items I wanted due to them being out of stock. Its hardly ever the same items missing either. Otherwise its an Aldi - great prices and good food items. I just prefer to shop at any of their other locations more than the Round Lake one.

I really like how they accept credit cards now. Plus I like that there are a few choices for one type of food/item this way makes it easy for decision making. Plus I really like when they have clothes on sale. The best part is the double money back guarantee. I do wish they were open later, some times I dont get done with work until after 8 or 9 and by then they are closed.

We bought 4 lbs potato salad. 2 lbs macaroni salad. 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 dozen eggs alteady hard boiled and shelled for under $20. On a separate order we picked up dipping chips, dip and their brand of veggie straws. Their veggie straws tasted exactly the same as the expensiver name brand and at $1.98 instead of $3.48 Ive paid at walmart.

My family primarily shops at Aldi, and would mark 5 stars for that alone, but this Aldi always seems to be disorganized, empty boxes on the floor amongst other things. The overall cleanliness and the way food is treated here either speaks to the qaulity of the people that shop here or the qaulity of the people that work here.

Its a cheap store, but its one of those things where you " get what you pay for " I dont by fruit from there because its usually not that good from my experience. But everything else is fine for being a generic brand. Also the one in round lake is not set-up very good. I prefer fox lakes aldi.

Great prices, clean store, and I love the Aldi double guarantee. Aside from our regular food shopping, Ill find from time to time home good items that are a phenomenal value. I dont like that there isnt an Aldi where I stay in Florida for the winters.

I shop here almost every week. The quality of the products is excellent and the prices are reliably as good or better than Wal-Mart or Sams Club. Bring your own bags or containers for your groceries and have a quarter handy to get a cart.

Decently cheap, you cant find everything you would need here but they stock most things. Some of the staff is friendly, some are not so much. I dont mind coming here. Bring your own bags.

Who doesnt love ALDI?! Its your usual store with the great prices and selections. Not as big as the one in Mundelein but still a generally great shopping experience!
