Looking for a new minivan for our newly extended family of four (twin 9 mth old boys). Walked into the dealership on a Friday around 6:30pm after seeing 2 cars on their lot that fit the profile of what we were looking for. We were immediately told that "Sorry folks we are closed"- to our surprise, I thought this was a joke. No offer to take our information down, no "thanks for coming in...however...". I asked if he was kidding and he pointed to the hours on the door (which did state they closed at 6pm)- but the door was open, so we thought they were available. So because of this we go to turn around to leave and state under our breath that they must not have wanted a deal and head to another local dealer.... Great experience at the second dealership- they just didnt have what we were looking for. So the next Monday (after the weekend) we find sitters AGAIN and head back to Bredemann to see those two cars. We spoke with the salesman- told him we wanted the Sienna SE instead of the XLE and that we needed to stay under $500/mth. Knowing that we need to "work the numbers" he told me that he needs to call the banks in the AM to get financing and they would call us the next day. At the SAME TIME another salesman, takes the keys to show the SE to another party. He calls back today to let me know "Great news! We got you approved!" At first, Im excited and then he tells me "well the SE was sold last night, but we can sell you the XLE and your payments would be $700 per month - we just need some paperwork from you" I WAS BLOWN AWAY- what part of (a) we were interested in the SE NOT the $3K more expensive XLE did you NOT understand and (b) what part of we need to stay under $500/mth did you not comprehend!? Thats almost a mortgage payment!!! Factors of customer service to be learned here: - "Thanks for coming in folks. We happened to close early on Fridays but if you give me your information I can have a salesperson call you first thing tomorrow AM." - "We can hold the SE for your overnight until we can call the banks for more information." - "Good news and bad news...the car you wanted last night was sold. However, I WAS able to get you approved for financing, but we need to look at other cars that might fit your budget." - "Sorry we cannot meet your monthly payment on this car, but lets work together to see what cars we CAN put you in that you can afford." In this day & age- no ones credit is perfect, everyone has gone through rough times, and no one really wants to buy a new car. We are in a situation where we could have used some hand-holding or at the very least better customer service. At least, let me feel like my business was worth something and that you cared about our situation. Needless to say- I would NOT recommend this dealership!! Car buying is a pain in the @$$ already and going to a place like this makes it even harder and more stressful!!!!

Buying the car here was a great experience. However Im very skeptical with their service department. Basically My AC wasnt working. I paid he $160 to look it over. I was told the upper and lower hoses were leaking. It would cost $850 to fix. I asked does that include the $160. answer was no. Said they filled and I asked how long would it last. Maybe 2 weeks. Ok . I;ll take it pick it up since I need the car now. When I picked it up there was no AC even though I was charge for the fill (its on the invoice) Brought it right over to Park Ridge Auto Repair on Higgins. Explained the issue. John took a look at it the following day. He had to take out the remaining coolant which was really nonexistent. He did a pressure test - found no leaks. Saw no leaks. He filled it with the AC coolant (along with dye to test for leaks later). Well that was 7 weeks ago and the car has been running col since. Brought it back to test if there was any small leak. No sign of any dye. What can I say - either the technician is incompetent or a scammer. I did call a few days afterward and spoke to the manager. He wanted me to bring it back in. I told him Im sorry but I dont trust their service department. I was skeptical to leave the car with them (he did offer me to be with the car the entire time but I have better things to do then to waste my time to show them their technicians lack of morals or incompetence. in the weeks afterwards Ive received emails not related to this event but to solicit selling me a new toyota and phone calls and emails to schedule the repair. Ive left voice messages and follow up emails about this an guess what - no one go back to me. What makes me even more weary of this place is my daughter (I own 4 cars and use to bring them here) was told one time her water pump was bad. I thought it was strange since nothing was leaking so I brought it over to another garage to look at and test. They found nothing. Well one year later she brought the car back and was told the water pump was going. I then spoke to the guy on the phone and he convinced me I need a new water pump since it was my daughters car and I didnt want her to get stranded . Id like to also put a footnote here. Along with these and other issues I had it was always the Toyota Service Department. I have a Buick and GMC in which I always brought over to the Chevy side and they were always great. Funny how only the Toyotas had issues. Moving forward I will be staying away from Bredemann service departments and I will not be buying any Toyotas

Bought my 09 VW Tiguan from these guys thinking I got a nice car. Didnt even put three thousand miles on her when all the sudden the EPC light comes on. Car stalls periodically, cylinders misfire. Then the check engine light comes on shortly after. Occasionally the car wouldnt go over fifteen miles an hour, scary cause my wife and new baby are in this thing. Take the car in and my mechanic finds one thing after another wrong. Eight different codes pop up when scanned. Needs a new fuel pump, vacuum hose, crank shaft, transmission had to be removed which is pricey so thanks guys. Mechanic tells me parts are missing and someone who doesnt know what they are doing has toyed with it. Parts missing really guys. Now Im a staggering fifteen hundred dollars in the hole. Unreal. Could possibly be more wrong with it cause I havent actually gotten it back yet. The more they look the more they find. Couldnt be more frustrated and unhappy. Update: finally got the car back. Had to replace the crank shaft. At 80k miles. Everyone knows 80k miles on a foreign car is like 40k miles on a domestic. Mechanic asked me how long I been battling the problem. Said havent even put 3k miles on it yet. He told me someone has been chasing the issue for quite some time and that whoever was working on her was just throwing parts in her hoping something would work. Told me bolts were missing, loose, even found a couple of extra parts in perfect condition. Thank god I have a great mechanic. Something tells me even with a warranty the issue would have persisted. And I wasnt offered any type of warranty. Was told as soon as I drive off it was my problem. I still have the window sticker which even says no warranty offered. Things happen and I was just unfortunate to get a bad car with a difficult problem to diagnose and expensive to repair. To answer the question I started having issues in October but didnt think much of it. Happened once and let it go. Month later happened again. By February I realized I should stop driving it and get it looked at. Mind you it was driven like once or twice a week max. Took 6 weeks to get it diagnosed and fixed. This model does have some tough issues to take care of Ive read. A band aid was applied to get it working temporarily to be sold or traded. Its obvious. Less then 3k miles and something major happens, there was a pre existing issue and nobody could find it is what happened.
