The ice cream is delicious but the service was lacking. First off the tables werent cleared so we pushed aside dishes, napkins, sprinkles, spoons. Then our order arrived and it was wrong... One scoop instead of two. We asked about it and they took our existing dishes away, shortly brought dishes with totally new ice cream... great except the one flavor was the wrong one. We gave up and ate them. Since we didnt get our receipt returned, we cant do their survey.

Best Ice Cream Ever! Went here when visiting family, with my whole family. There ws a girl that worked there that was very nice, friendly, and accomodating to us. I believe her name was Alyssa. She has great customer service and now my family comes here instead of other places because of her!The ice cream is great, customer service is what makes people come back! Everytime im in the Chicago area, I will make a stop here! 5 Stars for Great Customer Service!

Great ice cream but the service is incomprehensibly slow. After you place your order its not uncommon to wait ten minutes... For ice cream. Given that there are always four or five people behind the counter I cant understand it. The kitchen layout seems to be a problem as staff are in each others way half the time, or so it seems, but it really does seem excessively slow. However, if youve got the time to spare its the best ice cream in town.

The seasonal flavor options are great. During the fall and winter, the apple pie is to die for. The ice cream is all rich, not the icy stuff you get from the self serve places. The only problem is on weekends during colder months there are at most 3 people working despite no lack of patrons. Regardless we go as a family just about every week.

This is my favorite ice cream parlor! I wish I could have brought it with me when I moved. The ice cream is delicious!! It smells like heaven when you walk in (or how I imagine heaven would smell! Lol!)!! They sometimes seem understaffed but it is worth the wait! My 8 year old son would take me there on dates! Its our place!

Great quality and fun hang out. Kiddos get a balloon and your older children may enjoy a game of chess. Great all year round (think smooth hot chocolate when it is cold). Pricey. Reasonable kids size available but hard to order with all of the grand options. Great ice cream cake and pie to go also.

Disclaimer: I only get chocolate ice cream. Hit or miss with the flavor; sometimes sooo good, other times weirdly a bit sour tasting. An extra star for the adorable old fashioned parlor feel & ability to buy the milk (raspberry lemonade is tasty,too).

This is the best ice cream Ive literally ever had. Especially the cookie dough ice cream, Ive never had better ice cream. When I go, I only order the cookie dough every time because they have a good ratio of cookie dough and ice cream

The tables have built in chess boards and there tons of board games lying around for the kids. Also, you can buy bacon and eggs and milk plus a few other staples, which is super neat. Also they have ice cream.

Customer-friendly service and free tastings. They have chess there and you can play there as much time as you want as long as you have at least one order. They dont kick you out if its past their closing time.

Not a fan of Jim Oberweiss political stances nor his racist comments about immigrants. But the ice cream is delicious and the service is good. Lots of staff and customers, by the way were people of color.
