I recently went to Michaels to have a $500 print framed. I chose Michaels because they were offering a 60% discount on framing. The job was suppose to take 2 weeks but, was delayed by over a week because someone either ordered or delivered the wrong matting. When I went to pick up my framed print, I found it had been damaged and there were obvious rolls in the print itself, it was not framed flat. After waiting another day for the District manager to view the framing, to Michaels credit I was given a $100 discount, however, I had spent over $400 for a shoddy and totally amateurish job. Without the Michaels 60% offer, this framing job would have cost me over $900, Outrages. They jack up the price and give you a 60% discount and then do a lousy job to boot. NEVER AGAIN! Be sure to check your artwork before walking out of the store.

By golly, upon approaching the store location, there was a HORSE near the entrance. Now, this wasnt one of those fancy ride around horses, that you can pay to ride. This was a WILD ANIMAL. Onlookers didnt seem to mind it at first, but as I began to throw a fir, everyone looked over and stared. I am appalled, that the store staff didnt take more precautionary measures, or contact animal control!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN will I shop here, for FEAR of my life being, quite literally, TRAMPLED. 4/5 Not bad.

I cant say enough about how happy I am with the custom framing that Theresa did on my needlepoint. This project took me a year to make (about 70,000 stitches will do that!) so I decided to spend the money to have my work professionally framed and so glad that I did. Every time I look at it Im happier with it. Theresa is very talented with her work and her recommendations were spot on perfect! Im hooked and will have all of my framing done at Michaels from now on!

I can tell you that theres one manager who is a real *B and pretty much ruined an event for my art club. We came here to do a wreath and it was terribly disorganized and the manager was so damn rude. Otherwise its pretty cut & dry same ol same ol. Prices are ok when you have coupons. No issues with gross bathrooms here, something I try always to look for.

In general, I love Michaels and have never been to a location that didnt carry something new or unique that piqued my interest. Great spot for arts and crafts/hobby supplies.
