I will NEVER get a tattoo anywhere else. Private Ink employs the BEST artists who make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in. From first timers to experienced customers, anyone should feel confident walking into this shop. Its clean, they use the most up to date equipment, and the artists are absolutely incredible. Whether you know exactly what you want, or need a little help, you can be sure that youll walk away with a quality piece of artwork that will last forever. Mikie will always be my #1 guy to go to. Hes quick, reasonable in pricing and has an eye for seeing the vision you describe to him. Ive recommended many friends and family to him, and not one has walked away disappointed. If youre looking for a new piece, get your butt to Private Ink ASAP!!!

I went in for a simple tattoo on my forearms with my girlfriend on Friday or Saturday evening of last week. The healing began and everything seemed normal until I began having redness and yellowing in the tattoo. I called them twice and followed their advice. I went to a local shop near me and got a second hand look at it. He told me I had a mild infection and it would take 2-3 weeks to heal because of it plus mild scarring. I am beyond pissed that this occurred. They touch needles with their hands and dont wash them even after going out and smoking. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE! Save your money and go someplace safe because no one needs a infection and to be dug into.

I was visiting family in Chicago (from Texas) and got a tattoo there of my dog Ive never had such an amazing tattooing experience, the work is beautiful, all the staff and artists are kind and just a hoot to be around, everyone who sees the tattoo asks where I got it done and honestly Id fly back there just to get more work done. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo stop in and just talk to them they will most likely be able to capture what you want if not more. I know they did just that for me.

The artists are pretty arrogant and rude here. They dont let you make appointments, but I didnt know that so I called to try and make an appointment with a piercer and they said you have to just walk in. Ok no big deal. We waited two hours for an ear piercing but the entire time we were there the front desk girl was making fun of us and anyone else that walked in the door right in front of them! They have no customer service skills here.

DONT GO HERE. All of the artists really ink you hard (Ive had other shops look at my piece). Mikey is an arrogant ass hole that wouldnt fix something on my friend because he said it looked good. What happened to customer satisfaction? Not here. My boyfriends ink started pussing after a week. Called them twice for advice, took it step by step and ended up going to urgent care. I wont be referring anyone else here anymore.

Ive gotten 3 tattoos here from Matt and all of them have turned out great. Always very helpful and willing to work with me. I usually give him creative control and work with my ideas. Ive never been disappointed and he always does great work. Will definitely be going back to him to get all my future work done!

I walk in and the one guy at the front desk watching a movie turns to me and says "what do you want" are you kidding me your dealing with somethings thats going to be on you for life there ARROGANT RUDE and disgrace your thoughts of your tattoo for example he called my tattoo idea gay so i left DONT GO HERE

Jake took my piece. He did a great job and had me in and out quickly. The shop is very clean and dont worry about stopping at an ATM. There is one inside of the shop, all the artists are great and friendly. None of that "rough and tough" attitude.

Clean place, friendly staff. I got a really simple one done by Dan. I was going to get it filled in but it hurt like a mother so I changed my mind, so he made sure to clean up the outline first. He was really nice and professional too!
