My fiancee and I went here on 02/02/2011 to get tattoos. After calling around to a few other places we decided to go to Royal Street Tattoo. From the moment of speaking on the phone with them to the second we left, everyone was GREAT! They played really good music and were friendly. This was my first tattoo and Colin, the tattoo artist, did a GREAT job. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. We are going back for sure! Prices are reasonable too, we called tattoo zone and tat-2 before going here. They wanted to charge 50-75 just for a NAME. Royal Street Tattoo charged 25 dollars. The place was really clean and the stations were sterile. GO HERE!!!

Our artist was great but could only do half the work because he said it was so detailed it would take two appointments. We paid for the work in full and made an appt to return. Our artist got sick and never finished the work even though we paid in full. We talked to the shop about it, told them I have my receipt, and they said he didnt work there anymore and it wasnt their problem. That I could "go find the sick artist at the hospital and make him finish." We went to "Royal Street Tattoo" shop, not a person. They should have at least honored the rest of our work. Very disappointed.

Edit: this place used to be great. From what I hear now they are turning out bad work because none of the original crew are there. Just a bunch of random people the new management decided to hire. If you go anywhere, go to Bell rose tattoo. Its worth the extra 15 minutes for a lifetime of good work

Great place very neat!! Kyke, Suzette and AJ everybody received well. Me and my friends had inked here, they are very cool and awesome. Loved this place very much, if you want to get a tattoo in Mobile you should visit this place!!

The tat I got was exactly how I designed it. He made no modifications. It was spot on. Took his time and very reasonable price Theyes take their time and precious so it cost a little more but thr artwork is spot on.

I did not want a huge tattoo I just wanted a few little ones. Most tattoo shops will not take you seriously because of these. But they were very nice and did not care. I would recommend them.

Went in to get a small, very simple tattoo. Was quoted a very high price. Went to The Tattoo Zone and it cost half the price. Im fairly certain we were quoted tourist prices.
