I have came here for 3 out of 4 of my tattoos, and I just had one that I had done at a tattoo party touched up. Ive seen all these negative reviews, and I chose to go here anyways. I had the pleasure of having Sean do my tattoo. Not only did he fix someone elses mistake, he added to it to make it look amazing. Never once have I had any problems with my tattoos from here, and I would continue to go here as long as my artist stays (Sean) I really loved what he did with my tattoo. As for all the bs comments about the cleanliness of the shop. Not only did I watch him wash his hands he also put on a fresh pair of gloves every time he stepped out to great other customers(in front of me) I also watched him open a fresh needle for my tattoo, and watched him put ink into brand new ink containers. The inside of the lobby was not the same with out the art books on the walls but it was very clean and comfortable. I hope hope that this shop is around for years to come as I plan on going back for more art work by this wonderful artist. Than you so much Sean and skin gallery for making my birthday awesome and making my tattoo better than it was before. This place is the ONLY place I will every get pierced! Ive been pierced at several places before I came here and all of my other ones rejected but Ive had several pierced by Kris and Ive never had a problem with any of them. Hes hands down one of the best piercers around. I even took my 53 year old mother to him to get a dermal (who hates piercings) and she now has the biggest crush on him and loves her belly microdermal. I love the atmosphere there. Its a little busy but the wait is well worth it and I always seem to make new friends in the waiting area. Id love to see there be a TV show (like LA ink) about this place. I wish theyd submit a pitch to A&E or something, Id totally watch it. Anyone else think so? But either way Id only recommend this place if you are looking to get a piercing, I hear the tattoos are awesome too but never personally got one, hopefully soon though. You guys have my business for life.

I walked in to get a peircing. I was immediately hit with an awful burjing incense smell and was greeted rudely by the guy who apparently does the peircings there while he was playing on his phone. I was literally told "well youll have to gave a seat and wait because I have another peircing to do first." And continued to play on his phone. I sat down and waited for about the amount of time it would have taken to do my peircing. For two girls to walk in and go straight back with him. My jaw dropped to the floor. I had to wait to get my peircing done for somebody who wasnt even at the shop! They place looks a bit beat up, mixed with creepy stuff they have on display and the bad smell all created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I left and didnt even bother to get my peircing. Ill go to the shop I normally go to, theyre cheaper, more professional and a lot more welcoming

Got my first tattoo here and was impressed. The place was clean and I was asked if I needed help right away. The front of the shop was crowded but everyone was being helped. I had a very specific tattoo I wanted done and I wanted to know if they could do it and when. Monk said he could do it and quoted me a very reasonable price. Monk started work right away and I absolutely love the red dragon he did for me. He did it better than the design I brought him. Monk, aka Monkey (Mike Johnson) explained the process and after care completely. I would recommend Monk to anyone looking for that first tattoo!

The entire staff walked out on this place over night. This should tell you something. I have seen some very unprofessional posts from whoever is now running the facebook account for this "shop". I had a tattoo done here by el the lines are not straight and the shading is horrible. they are also not very understanding of people telling them whats wrong with the shop and employees. This is a serviced based industry they are in and soon they wont be in it because the lack of service they provide.

I got a microdermal done a few months ago and when I got home to clean it I noticed the jewelry was loose. So I called the next day and they said its fine and to just keep a bandaid over it. A few months go by and I notice it snagging more thinking it was rejecting and today I just woke up and the gem came loose and fell off. Very disappointed since I paid $70 and I couldve paid $40 at another shop and they couldve done it better.

Very clean professional and sterile facility! Brent was very thorough with his explanation of the procedure and post care instructions! He assured me all the equipment is sterilized and opened a new pack in front of me. He kept talking to me through the piercing process to ease me n keep me calm. I had expected a more painful procedure but it was hardly anything! Highly recommend this place for first time piercers

Ive been going here for a couple years to get tattoos. Joe is my ultimate favorite. Im sad hes leaving but im glad hes continuing to do what he loves. The only place ill get my piercings done is here. Kenny is the best. You wont even realize youre being pierced because he distracts you pretty much when he does it. Needless to say, this is the ONLY place i will ever get pierced or tattooed!

It was extremely dirty.... The ppl there were rude. Max did a good job on my tat but it was a simple tat. Ive seen his work on others and it was terrible... The prices were too high I had a small tat and it was 100 I reccommend dead serious tattoos. They are nicer. Cleaner. Cheaper and more talented... Seriously never go to skin gallery . also most of their tats get infected as well

This place is awesome! Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. I have been going there for a few years now and I never had one bad experience. I have had two tattoos done there by Eloise and they both turned out amazing! Also, I had my belly button pierced and my nose pierced and those turned out great too! They are very clean! I cannot wait to get my next tattoo done there!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Their really nice and the tattoos are amazing. Definitely going back. Went to Tomato in Lisle for my first tattoo and it was messed up and wasnt completely filled in and was much more expensive for something small and in black ink. Got my second tattoo here and Im really happy with it, it was bigger and in color and cheaper. Getting my third soon.
