Finally there is quality coffee in the suburbs. Having lived in the city for many years I became accustomed to very high end coffee. After moving back to the suburbs I found my life lacking in this department. Hansa Coffee has filled a void in my life that I have very desperately needed. The coffee here is amazing, everything from the made to order cups of coffee(pour over) to all the espresso drinks. They generally have around 6 different single origin coffees along with their blends to take home as well. The staff here are very friendly, something not always common among high end coffee roasters. Everyone smiles & remember my name making me feel very comfortable and at home whether Im coming in to grab and go or hang out in the store. Wish this store the best and I hope they are around for a very long time!

Beautiful storefront in a historic building in downtown Lake Bluff, and Im so excited it has been filled by Hansa Coffee, whose original shop in Libertyville has become a community hub and source of top quality coffee, both for traditional barista drinks as well as beans for home coffeemakers. The owners are passionate about the sourcing and roasting of their beans, their baristas are friendly and helpful, and the seating is ample and inviting. With the connected walkway to the adjacent Wisma store, I fully expect Hansa Lake Bluff to soon become a staple of the downtown Lake Bluff community!

Possibly my favorite coffee shop in Lake County, this cozy, locally roasting coffee house has everything from single origin brews to teas to baked goods served by a kind and knowledgeable staff. It also offers a good environment to get some studying done or sit outside and hangout with friends barring its warm enough.

Stopped by this roaster after work one day and picked up an outstanding bag of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Probably the best Ive ever had. On the other hand I was not impressed with their cold brew, so take note if youre going during the summer. Otherwise its a great little roaster in a great little area.

The best coffee in Libertyville or within a 50 mile radius of downtown, even illy at NBC Tower cannot come close to Hansa - now in Lake Bluff on the way to the beach, love the service too, super friendly staff, it is superior and they know their clientele - lovely, just lovely and well needed.

Hands is one of the best local coffee shops in lake county. The one in Libertyville is just as good. It is difficult to find shops that roast their own beans and Hansa DOES! Also their gluten free muffins are really good and I dont care about gluten or gluten free...
