It was a fantastic experience with Old Corner Books that inspired me to open a Yelp! account. I had ordered a book on the Old Corner Books website. It wasnt just any book, but an old signed first edition of a childrens book that I had nostalgia for. The package arrived quickly, but had been damaged in transit and was empty upon arrival. I was terribly disappointed because it was kind of hard to find, especially signed. I contacted the owner, and she did some investigation with the post office. There was no trace of the book. So heres the amazing part - she was able to find a replacement of the exact book - signed too - and sent that to me. Im familiar with the authors signature, and it was the real deal. Now it would have been very easy to tell me that it was tough luck as I had no recourse (I purchased directly from the website and didnt have any kind of buyer protection). So to do what she did is above-and-beyond my wildest expectations. Thank you Old Corner Books for being such a wonderful, customer-focused business!
