I used Southampton Books to give a friend a book she has been looking for for decades. The incredibly helpful staff were able to identify the book based on the rough description I was able to provide. It demonstrated real expertise on the part of the staff. My friend was ecstatic. Ive used them a few times and they are always quick and the books are in excellent condition.

Cluttered not conducive to browsing poor displays. ...not inviting. If you know what you want there is help but looking for a something to inspire and you want to walk out. I miss the Westhampton book store. My one star represents the amazing book i purchase as s gift on Paris.....I know what I was looking for and it was there.

Great selection - new and rare books. The owners are the faces youll see as you enter the store. Personal touches abound. Friendly advice, free wrapping - and you can find the hottest bestsellers alongside rare, signed editions.
