This store habitually rips people off. Take note that the one positive review was written by the same guy that it says is a fantastic problem solver. Apparently, he is not as sharp as he thinks he is. Yesterday, I ignored the instinct to drive the extra three miles to the store on Irving Park and Rt. 59 and popped in. All I needed was a new SIM card for my daughters phone. We have been TMobile customers for more than 10 years and already had a line for her, I was just giving her my old phone to replace a lost one. This was not a difficult thing. I have done this before and it was never a big deal. I this case, they tried to charge me 20 bucks for the SIM card! That is like saying, "That will be 20 dollars for the privilege of spending more money on our services ." When I questioned the charge, the sales person gave me that signature "diva" look and attitude, and the guy who zeemed to be the leader of the pack said that they had no choice because it was TMobile corporate policy, but if I called them, I could probably get it credited back. TMobile almost lost a customer right then and there. At this point my internal scam alarm sounded and I turned right around and walked out of the store, drove the 3.17 miles to the Sutton Road store and was in and out with a new SIM in 10 minutes after a very pleasant and courteous interaction with store staff. Oh, and it didnt cost me a thing. I really should learn to follow my instincts on these things. Ill not be going to the Hanover Park store again. I recomend that you do the same and head over to the Sutton Road store a couple miles west on Irving Park. Ive never walked out of that one feeling like I got ripped off.

Cant give them a zero so a 1 star will have to do. I would stay away from this T-mobile or any T-mobile run by TCC Wireless. This store adds things to your account even when you say no. You dont want to put insurance on your phone? They will tell you its required the first month when its not true. They say the $250 worth of Accessories are included in the price? Yea the monthly price. Not the phone. If youre getting a $650 phone and they tell you the accessories come with it, they dont. When you see your first bill youll notice it says the price of the phone plus any of the accessories you got so you just paid $900 for that phone and by the time you notice it you cant return any of it. They will also add extra data to your plan and when you go ask why the bill is higher theyll say it was a mistake and give you a credit for it but wont take the add on off so you will have the same problem next bill. They are only interested in your money and nothing else. Their commission is more important that actually helping you out. Be careful when you go in. The store manager EDLIN will trick you into thinking youre getting a good deal. They trash talk you they will take pictures of you and post them on snapchat! Many of the good reviews here are people they are training to con you at other stores. They are a training store for TCC WIRELESS. Stay away. Go to a corporate location!

Staff is very incompetent. Seems like on Sundays especially staff left without higher managment and does not wanna help. Does not want to assist in transfering phone numbers stating that is only customer responsibility to call customer service . There was additional charges to the bill and when i asked what is it for i was told that it is for data where i have unlimited data plan . When i advised agent about my unlimited data he then stated that he is not sure what it is for . I asked me then since he is nit sure being TMobile representative to than take that charge away and i was told that for this i will have to "AGAIN" call customer care . Another TMobile representative stepped down as he was asked by our agent for help and he was trying to get so much involved in to our case but not helping and making some solution but just with some anger to say that its not their responsibility and they wont promise anything . So looks like at this specific location agents are only there to open a line and sell items but nothing else . Terrible service Ive seen. I am very disappointed and wont go this location anymore for someone to tell me i have to call custoner care for everything i need help. I guess its waste of the money for TMobile to have employees like this .

EXTREMELY SHADY & RUDE STAFF...STAY AWAY! As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, if I could give them 0 stars I would but 1 is the lowest option. I went into the store to move 3 lines from AT&T. Since I knew what I wanted the process was fairly quick however their sales manager kept trying to push the warranty on me. I refused and she got upset and became rude but said OK...However once I got my first months bill, I noticed she had added the warranty on regardless of me saying NO. Adding to this, she told me that my iphone came with 3 free accessories. Once again when my bill came I was shocked to find out that these accessories were not free and she simply did a split pay option along with the iphone. The accessories she gave me are garbage. I can find better quality/cheaper stuff on Amazon. Over all I recommend staying away from this location. Find ANY other location!

Carlos "helped" me.. and by "helped" i mean he helped himself to charging me some $20 fee called "upgrade assistance fee" or something.. keep in mind, i wasnt upgrading.. i was returning my note 7 because tmobile FORCED me to do so by disabling my phone.. so i wasnt upgrading, i was downgrading by force of hand.. and then Carlos decides to charge me a fee for it.. needless to say, i called tmobile and received a credit for this sketchy fee.. i told the CSR in fact it was more of an inconvenience than anything.. we were in that store for an hour and a half.. Carlos was unbearably slow at his job.. and hes been there for as long as i can remember, but he was acting like he didnt know how to do anything.. worst store ever!!!! those employees suck!!!! there were so many just standing around not helping anyone... get to work!!!! not everyone can be a superviser...

The store located at 1625 irving park rd , hanover park ,il is a rude and terrible store and staff. the man who remmbered me was argumentive with me the cust. i told him that the 30.00 i payed for a prepaid phone was not active or the minutes did not plenish on my grandsons phone, he said he sees the payment and its on the boys phone. i repeated several times that it was not. he replys that it was all good on his end . so two days later after payment made , it still not reflecting on his prepaid number. !! So if you have a prepaid phone best bet is to stay out of that store for starters , and just buy a prepaid card from walgreens or walmart not this store or u will loose your minutes as i did . very bad store and staff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
