I love this used book store. When I go, I make an afternoon of it. Its a true independent store without the smarmy atmosphere of so many others that still remain in the area (oh, how I miss Bookmans Alley!). This is a common mans bookstore (thats why its perfect for my wife and myself). You will find a little bit of everything here. Theyre pricing model is unique (by the pound), which some people dont like. They often do, however, put items on markdown.

This place stole my books. I dropped off a box with a clerk who took all of our info, phone, email, and said they would process it and get back with our payment. Followed up a week later and they said "nope, we dont have your name." End of story, books stolen! The prices they charge arent really that reasonable either, considering that they pay nothing for inventory!

Packed with books to the point of overwhelming, but organized. Not really a cheap pricing system (by the pound), but the books do get marked down after a while. Give yourself plenty of browsing time, the store is a few storefronts long.

I love browsing through this place! They have an enormous amount of books of all genres and its generally really quiet and quaint inside. Plus, I love the idea of paying for used/old books by the pound!

I had 7 hard cover books in very good condition to sell. I was paid only 50 cents for all of them. They pay almost nothing for their inventory. Terrible place to sell your books. Ripoff.

They have a great selection of new and used books, and you can buy books by the pound! Nice and cozy inside.
