I was visiting a Jewel store there and found that this Plaza is undergoing a major renovation. It is not the first time people are trying to revive it. The major problem with it it is located right on a border with a Deerfield, Lake County, where tax rate is 8.0% This plaza is still in Northbrook, Cook County, so, sales tax is 10.0%. We will see if renovation will pay off this time.

I live a couple blocks from this giant strip mall. Its not what it used to be. However, theyve just finished building a nice big new Jewel-Osco, which I hope will encourage other businesses to come in and rejuvenate it. I like the Jewel, Subway, Mod Pizza here. I was sad that TJ Max and Sports Authority closed here.

This place was a dump! Honestly, it always was, except it has been a ghost town for the longest time. Fortunately, it is CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION! I look forward to whatever improvements, even if it is nothing more than access to the shops hidden behind the mall.

This large strip mall has been in transition for decades. Great for Ulta, groceries and bed bath and beyond. Much vacancy in this shopping center. Starbucks is near by in case you need it :)
