My Daughter and I just returned home from FlowerWood Garden Center, Ive never written reviews but I was so impressed with the quality of product and service that I had to write something as soon as I returned home. My Daughter wanted to find a thank you gift for her teachers and she is picky and wanted something nice, fun and interesting. Mandy greeted us kindly and assisted us in finding the perfect gifts. They had a vast selection of healthy looking plants, floral arrangements and gifts and I noticed that the prices were far less than Ive paid elsewhere. Ive been to every garden center in the region and have been mainly disappointed with either poor quality, poor selection and price. I was pleasantly surprised that FlowerWood exceeded my expectations in all of those areas. I am very satisfied with my experience today and as far as Im concerned, there is no need for me to shop anywhere else.

Compared to how thriving this place used to be its hard to be objective because its really gone down hill and looks run down. The greenhouse in back is very empty and they have so much area for plants outside and it feels as if they are doing the minimum. They also have bare minimum hours. Despite this, there are some nice looking plants from what they do have but its sad because there is so much potential here to be a great garden center with a lot of TLC. Some of the staff hasnt been the friendliest either. The newly completed road construction on 14 eliminated left turns into the place if you are west bound, but you can go down to Ridgefield Rd and do a legal u-turn on the left arrow and double back to Flowerwood.
