They are horrible!!!! Especially Laura, the manager. They dont really have a 5 year warranty on prelit Christmas trees. I bought an expensive, prelit tree on 11/26/2005. I brought it in on 11/19/2010 for repair since half the lights were out. I was told I would have to pay $290 for the repair to get my tree back because the warranty ended 11/2009???? That is only 4 years, not 5!!!!!! When I argued my case, Laura started yelling at me asking me "what dont I understand about it not being under warranty anymore? Huh?? She then told me that if I continued to complain she would put my name on the "bad customer list" and I wouldnt be able to get the tree serviced there anymore!!! Are you kidding me!!! I wouldnt step foot in that Hell Hole ever again. Countryside, and especially Laura, SUCK!!!!!!

Countryside did a wonderful job making our wedding in McHenry, IL beautiful. Jennifer Hunt was our contact person, and was so professional. I was planning my own out-of-state wedding while in nursing school, and she understood how busy I was. She reached out to family members that live in the area to present flower arrangement option. We ended up renting their black, wrought iron altar, with floral décor, for the ceremony. Countryside took care of setup, breakdown, and working with the venue on delivery and cleanup. Jennifer hand-delivered our bouquets and boutonnieres to the hotel during hair and makeup madness. I was very impressed with their service.

Countryside has pretty plants and fall decor, but the jasmine plants I bought turned out to be infested with scale. It should have tipped me off when bees were hovering near the plants. I even asked an employee there why there were bees, and he just responded that Well, were in a greenhouse, there are bees. I thought the bees were attracted to the flowers, but after some internet research, I found out that they were attracted to the sticky residue from the scale bugs. Anyway, I have a big clean up job now, and I hope they havent infested my other plants. Next time, Ill be more careful about inspecting for bugs.

We were very impressed with the quality of work provided by Countryside for new plantings and maintenance work. We were especially impressed by the knowledge and design skills that Barb Kindinger provided during our last project. Barb and her teams created a terrific upgrade of our overgrown landscaping and did so with a great work ethic and skill. Barbs ideas and her teams implementation have freshened up our homes curb appeal and given us renewed pride in our property. We will definitely request their services again.

I refer to Countryside Nursery as the "Disney Land of nurseries." I actually drive past at leat three different nurseries to get to this one. Dont let the front fool you, it stretches out forever in the back. If there is any type of plant to be found, it will be here. I also enjoy looking at the various garden accessories in the indoor shop. I will say that it can be a bit more expensive on certain plants. But, I guess thats what one might expect from "Disney Land."

I was on the phone with someone who worked there and asked if there was any one to help me pick out flowers for my moms wedding. Right after I said that she said, "Nope! Sorry. Valentines day is coming up, and we have no time for that. " didnt even ask when the wedding is. Ridiculous. And guess what, they just lost a customer for prom flowers. Sorry, never gonna go to you again.

Last summer I started planting perennials and bushes. I was not experienced with these and had a lot of questions and found any staff I talked to knowledgeable and helpful. While they may not be the cheapest in town they may ultimately save you money from not making mistakes because of their guidance. They have a huge selection and the plants were in great condition too.
