The Amish would be disappointed to learn about how the Amish Furniture Gallery in Crystal Lake represents their beautiful, solid furniture. Weve dealt with several people from this place and always left feeling upset because of cold service. While the Amish make gorgeous furniture, once it leaves their shop it is no longer in their hands. And that is when problems happen. Poor finishing, wrong colors and unwillingness to make corrections. And this wasnt just us -- we have friends who this happened to too. In the end they did make things right, but only after an ordeal. There are easier places to buy furniture.

We have had several pieces of furniture made at this store, most of it custom designed. We have gone in with the desired dimensions and looked at a variety of pieces and then combined features from several different models on the floor with our dimensions and the wood and finish of our choice to get a piece that was exactly what we wanted. We have been extremely pleased. The custom, solid wood pieces we got were no more expensive than premade veneered pieces that were available in other stores.

Very nice quality, investing your money-type of furniture. Furniture you would want to hang onto for a long time. Many different types of woods and stains, a custom shop with lots of Tiffany style lamps too.
