Fun, light, and delicious! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and bright. We got two milk teas (one taro and one vanilla). Both were delicious and not too hot to be able to drink right away. We did the build-your-own shaved ice. It looks like a lot but it was light and refreshing. I highly recommend this place and plan to go back.

Ill have to come again and try one of their hot desserts. The mango shaved ice was good, not overly sweet and did not have a syrup taste (awesome!) The store front confuses me as it states La Mom Cafe but this is Honey Dessert. On the credit card it is charged as La Mom.

Its about time flavored shaved ice is finally made it to Chicago, its been around the rest of Asia for years. Our shaved ice was good, but they gave us such a small amount and the side items was too little and small, feel like we didnt get our moneys worth.

The staff is so sweet! I was looking for moon cakes and they didnt carry it, but one man was so kind to recommend another bakery to me so that i get what i came for. The entire conversation was inviting so i will definitely go back and try their desserts.

A surprising and unusual experience in Chinatown. To start, the service is very good (much different than what you get in most places in the area). The desserts are quite good, colorful and not too sweet. Definitely a place to come back. Thank you!

They are always adding new desserts to the menue, and they also have games to play with a group, like Jenga. They have a huge projector screen in back playing drone footage of Chicago. Very cool.
