I have to say that my first time at Green Grocer was amazing. The shop is small and the staff is sweet. If you have questions about the produce/products, they are ready to help you. My family actually got our Thanksgiving dinner, and it was the best we had had. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. The one downside would be the semi-small selection that you get during certain months....especially when its the summer and everyones hunting for the same items. Some things sell out fast. This place is not friendly on the wallet. So, I would go for special occasions. Other than promoting local produce, they give back to their community. Down the street from the store is a school, where the owner brings produce to teach about healthy lifestyles and agriculture. They are true cheerleaders for green practices regarding food!

I absolutely love this store! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Sign up on the mailing list and youll receive updates on whats new and a host of special event invitations, like a how to build a worm bin workshop or free wine and spirits tastings... This is the store of your dreams! Local, organic, and fresh, is the only way to live and Cassie and the crew know this. You can find darn near everything you need for breakfast, lunch and dinner including foods for your fury friends!! If you havent been to this store, you need to go soon. Bring your own bag. You can opt for a discount on your purchases or donate it to the cause of the day/week. I can go on, but you should just check it out yourself. enjoy!!!

We are constantly amazed that our very small neighborhood grocery store really has EVERYTHING we need! Love how thoughtful each and every product choice is and the staff is wonderful - always going above and beyond for us. Their beer and wine selection is fantastic and we love their Smoking Goose meat products from Indy, the ridiculous Paleo cookies that we can only find at GG, and their produce is basically a mini-version of the Green City Farmers Market!

Although it is not the most accessible cost-wise, the free box in the rear of the store featuring past-its-prime-but-still-legit groceries, the samplings and the coupon-filled newsletter make up for it. The people are kind and knowledgable. You can even send them an email with a food-related question and they will respond to you right quick. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in eating locally and consciously.

I am going back for sure! I went here just to check the place out, and it was a wonderful experience. The produce was reasonably priced for organic local food, similar to farmers market or whole foods. The staff were so very friendly, and they had a free bin of slightly damaged food that I got some green beans from that were in pretty good shape. I highly recommend supporting this local business and getting yourself some delicious food!

Friendly, super-knowledgeable staff, great selection of local and delicious food. Beer and wine selection is great. Offers subscription services like a CSA with local farms and producers. The jalapeno soy dip they carry is among the finest things on the planet.

very convenient mini health-food store. the girls who work there are always cute and friendly. nice beer selection. glad this place exists, but there are a few items i wished they carried Hemp Milk though, instead of 3 different brands of soymilk.

Nice little grocery store. Pretty expensive and definitely not a one stop shop kinda place, though. They have some somewhat unique products here. Staff is very friendly as well.
