Embellish just celebrated its 5th birthday! That kind of staying power for a quirky retail shop is encouraging, especially in high-turnover North Center. This shop offers a fantastically unique selection of accessories, especially earrings, headbands and scarves. The owner is SO sweet and will indulge your questions about how things look when you try them on. I know from experience.

You cant go by this place without stopping and looking through the window. Seriously. The owner has amazing taste and new stuff all the time. I was looking for jewelery for my flower girl and the owner went out of her way to search the city of Chicago for yellow stones! She actually made me a necklace that was adorable.
