I have a Samsung phone with a cracked screen. I went to two other stores before Cell Phone Lab. One told me hed have to order in the part and hed call me with a price, he never called. The second place didnt do Samsung phones and recommended this business. I walk in a few minutes before closing time apologizing because i know no one wants to stay pass closing time. He takes a look at my phone, quotes me a "solid" $115 and tells me he needs to order the part. I was desperate, its Friday and he tells me the part will come in on Monday. He charges me $120 and gives me a shitty temp phone, which at the time im grateful for. Monday rolls around, no call. I call in asking for a status update only to be made a fool "part is not in well call you. " Tuesday rolls around and no call. I call in, "yeah your phone is ready". Great. I go in and he demands for the invoice he gave me on Friday. He didnt tell me i needed to bring it back. Isnt this an important detail? Luckily i had it stuffed in my bag. I give him my money and leave. Two weeks later, im sitting in the EL with my phone in my lap and it drops. There are four long cracks. Phones fall, it happens. Its still working so i order a phone case to protect it. A few days later the screen is completely black and it doesnt respond. My boyfriend goes in hoping for some help, a fix, a decent discount, a refund.. something. We get a half off discount on the labor so theyll charge us $100. I just gave you $120! Why was my phone replaced with such a flimsy screen? I can pick up the phone and literally bend it in half. Its ridiculous. At least back up your repair.

Roger is THE BEST. Tried 2 other cell phone repair places to fix my Samsung Note 2. Both stores told me there was nothing they could do to fix my problem. Was very discouraged when I walked in & met Roger. To my surprise, he said he would give it a try to fix my faulty antennae problem. It required line splicing, & soldering onto the motherboard. After working non-stop for 2 straight hours on my device, he fixed it. He only wanted to charge me $50 but I gave him considerably more. Hes worth it. Tell everyone you know about this Cell Phone Lab. This is the place to go when you have a problem. Period.

What an amazing experience! Cracked my iPhone 5s screen. Called every well rated store in the area comparing prices. Cell Phone Lab was by far the most reasonable. Dario (Rogers brother), quoted me $120 on the phone. I brought my phone in 20 minutes later, he told me to come back in 3 hours, I did, and the phone was ready and looked brand new and fully functional (fingerprint technology, touch screen, etc). Not only was the phone perfect, but Dario was super nice and fun to talk to. I will recommend this place to everyone and definitely will return in the future!

This guy,Roger, saved my life . After experiencing a water damage with my iPhone 4s, where I save all my important information, i was not able to fix it anywhere, even at apple store they told me that I can get a refurbished iPhone for a ridiculous amount of money "$200," but not my infos. Clay brought my baby back to live for only $90. thanks again Roger , you are the most profesional small repair shop in chicago. Best Regard Antoneti.

This place was awful the first time I came in for a cracked screen (just the glass) they said yes but later ended up saying they needed to replace the whole LCD. So I reluctantly paid $70+ more than the initial quote. Then I came in with a broken charging port, the (same phone). They told me my screen was broken and 120$ to fix it. Left the place and just went to buy a new phone.

ATTENTION. IF YOU HAVE A CRACKED GLASS ON YOUR PHONE DONT EXPECT TO GET AN ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT HERE.FOR 130$ I GOT AN "ORIGINAL" LED SCREEN FOR GALAXY S4. THAT DOESNT FIT SNUG AND THERE IS A BLACK STRIPE ON THE SCREEN PROTECTOR THAT COVERS THE PRINTED LETTERS SAMSUNG. DEFINITELY NOT AN OEM GLASS!

Had a frustrating day trying to fix my phone. If I had just stopped here first I would have saved about 5 hours of aggravation. Rodger is the best. I barely had time to play my 3ds before my phone was fixed.

As mentioned in previous reviews, Roger is awesome. He had the best price in town for a cracked screen repair(and I called everywherre), not to mention that he got it done in 3 hours! Cheers!
