Not very satisfied, first of all I have to say my salesman was very professional and polite at the Calumet City store, had no idea I would be pushed off on the Burbank store. The problem I have is with the delivery. I paid $ 160.00 plus for $500.00 dollar delivery. I did all my looking, shopping, and buying at the store in Calumet City. When it comes to my delivery, the store in Burbank IL called me (which the store is 15 minutes from my house) to confirmed my delivery date and time. I was quite taken a back first of all about the Burbank store calling me. The lady at the Burbank store said to me Im confirming your delivery date and time. I then said to her the date is good but the time is not and that I need the delivery to be after 3:30 in the afternoon I work and no one else would be here, not between 10a and 12:30p. She stated to me that we cant guarantee the delivery time. I said to her, I wasnt asking for a guarantee, just asking for the Burbank store to work with me. (since Id applied for the value city charge card and was approved for quite a bit). Will NEVER EVER USE IT. She stated she couldnt guarantee again. I then asked to speak with a supervisor . She said very cheerfully SURE, like, hes just going to tell you the same thing as I just did. Terry came to the phone basically said the same thing about how he couldnt guarantee the time and that if I wanted to RESCHEDULE. my delivery and put notes on my order about getting a later time, even with that I couldnt get a guarantee. I said to Terry that I was not looking for a guarantee, just looking for someone to try and work with me at the Burbank store because I had to work and no one would be at my home at that time. I then said to Terry Ill just have to take off work, he replied OK! Thanks for calling me. We then hung up. Now can someone please tell me, IS THIS WORTH THE $160. DOLLARS PLUS FOR DELIVERY JUST 15 MINUTES AWAY. Im just saying, just needed a little help!

Its one thing to dupe me but when you mess with my family you will live to regret it! So my parents are not furniture or leather experts and they come from a generation of trusting people that assume that when they go to a furniture store they can believe what they are told. They purchased a living room set with "leather" couches and decided to go ahead and buy the insurance that the salesman recommended since it sounded like a good precaution. Two of the sofas are now peeling in several places so my mother called the insurance company and was informed that her set is not covered because it is not made of leather. Someone please tell me why Value City sold my parents leather furniture coverage for couches that are not made of leather!? I am truly disgusted and will be driving my mother to the store on Wednesday when the salesman that sold them the furniture is in and we will be demanding an explanation and compensation for the "leather insurance" and the sofas. It sickens me when slimy individuals take advantage of innocent people. They should consider themselves lucky that I cant lift the furniture or they would be finding it through their storefront windows! What I can do for now is head over to the BBB website to report them and I will be posting this review on every possible site.

I had a horrible experience with them. I bought a microfiber couch for Presidents Day, thought everything was good even had two day delivery scheduled set. So the day before delivery through out the old furniture to make room for the new set. Delivery day they bring out leather furniture not what we ordered or wanted. My wife called the store to complain told us we would have to wait 3 weeks for the one we ordered. She explained to the manager we had no furniture in our house and was basically told there was nothing they could do. He said we could upgrade our furniture and pay the difference. We said Im not paying more for their screw up. Went to the store the manager said if we get a more expensive couch he could give us some store credit. Found out they have the original one we ordered but power recliners instead of the latched ones we order. They were 500 more for the powered ones. The manager said he would pay half of that so we owe 250 plus the warranty would be 80 more so over 300 more on couches. I said no I just want my money back I was already paying 1300 I didnt want to pay another 300. Me and wife arent the kind that want free stuff just wanted a better deal since it was there mix up. Would not recommend this store to anyone.

First of all i want to say that i bought a sofa and a chair at this Value City Location Saturday The couch was to be delivered to my house Thursday July 6th . They also told me my chair would be coming in September on the 27th to be exact. They also told me someone would call to confirm the time for THursday. Now Tonight a couple hours ago they called and told me that my chair will be coming Saturday July 22nd instead of September but my couch will be coming friday instead of thursday. Then when pressed further the lady on the phone called the manager who said that it will now be at my house Tuesday July 11th. When asked why was there such a breakdown in communication. I was faced with more excuses and lies. They said they called at 2:30 pm today.( They Did not) then when held accountable she said well she written it down to call me at 2:30. Then when again held accountable they kept making more excuses. My family have been buying furniture here for years . However after all the deception and failure to let us know the changes in advance i have lost faith in this store. I refused to believe the negative reviews and bad things i heard about the store and the people who work there but it seems like it is true.

This company does not care about customer satisfaction. They will say anything to make a sale. I purchased a bed and futon on a friday. They said they would deliver the futon on the following tuesday, but it would take another 3 weeks to deliver the bed. I explained that I was 4 months pregnant, and had nothing to sleep on. They didnt try to work on getting it delivered quicker. They told me to sleep on the futon until the bed comes. The next day, they called and said they wouldnt deliver anything for another 3 weeks. Again, I explained I was 4 months pregnant and had nothing to sleep on. They said it was nothing they could do and did not try to even make a call on my behalf. Dont waste your time or money here. If I had extra time, I would have gone to look for better quality furniture, with a company that has good customer service. Their merchandise is not worth the hassle. The salesman are only trying to make a sale and will sale you anything.
