I had a new air compressor at home and didnt know how to get it running, I had to buy me a shut off valve, hoses, air filters, and everything to get it working. I decided to go to harbor freight because it was near my house, when I got there the employes were rude and werent able to help me at all, all they gave me was "all we have for air compressors is on that aisle" I was expecting an advice, or a recomendation like (youre going to need these and that to have it working the proper way) but instead I got a rude answer and no help, instead I went to home depot which is not too far and got all I needed, found a guy who spent 30 minutes just to get very single peace of equipment I needed for my compressor.. I dont recomend this place. Go to home depot guys

Tool quality is top-notch. I still use a torque wrench (for proper torque on wheel nuts) that I bought at HF online years ago. It STILL does not need calibrating yet! :-) Anyone who posted here that says the tools dont last isnt using them properly. My Craftsman tools are less quality than the heft and weight of the tools from HF. I have sets in my semi, my car, and my garage, & nothing has broken in the 4 years Ive owned them.

There tools an equipment lasts as long as the gloves they sell there. Nothing good can be brought here that would last u for years to come. Trust me Ive been coming here for years an the only thing I buy from here is gloves an a shyt tool that I know Inwood break on a job with a name brand tool. Rather have there shytty lifetime Pittsburg crap broken than a craftsman or makita.

You have to remember, "you get what you pay for" Shopping around can get some great deals on tools I have this great Harbor Freight tool box. Not for heavy work but great for household repairs. Theyre a great mid-range store. Shop coupon deals if you can.

The location is a little out of the way, and the parking lot had more craters than the surface of Mars, but the store itself was well stocked. I was able to grab all the tools I needed and check out quickly.
