Authentic Mexican food with slightly high prices for what you get. Also, there is a grocery store attached with Mexican groceries and other items but can be crowded at times with migrate workers cashing checks. The restaurant itself is small inside with decent outdoor seating. Service is okay at best but far from bad. Food is good but not great for how much it costs. Better off going to the chain Mexican restaurants around town instead.

Dollar taco specials on Thursdays! Great little soft corn tortilla tacos with variety of meats including carnitas (pulled pork), barbacoa (BBQ), cow tongue, steak, chicken, or tilapia topped with chopped onions and cilantro (ask for the habanero sauce). Great tortilla chips and wonderful homemade quacamole. Beef and trip soup (menudo), tamales, tortas, sopas, grilled tilapia, and whole fried tilapia round out the menu.

I love tacos here, but its a bit pricey for its size. I wish they offer student discounts. Update: I tried the Taco Thursday special, which is basically 9.99 and eat tacos all you want. 7-9 is enough (i eat a lot). What they dont tell you is whatever you dont eat, they will charge you for it. (on top of the $9.99). Its your call...

First time the food was great and so was the service. This time we didnt even get acknowledged after 15 minutes so we left 5 minutes after asking if we might get served. Never happened. Guy wouldnt even make eye contact it on the back porch.
