I have been to numerous tattoo shops inside and outside of the country, and I have to say my experience with Firehouse Ink has been the best. All three of the artists are pretty cool, and non-judgemental about what you want done. Very approachable. I love the fact that its not overcrowded with a bunch of young individuals to ruin the experience. Ive seen some of Steves work on a few friends as well as some custom car work and it is always a great extension of himself. Ive seen Kens work as far back as almost ten years ago and hes just as gifted as Steve. Yesterday I started my first piece of my sleeve with Matt, and once again, hes just as gifted as Steve and Ken. My wife also had some work done two weeks prior by Matt as well, and is extremely happy with his work. There are people who want to do tattoos and do them, and then there are actual tattoo artists; and these three guys are definitely artists. I look forward to going back and getting more ink done in the near future. One last thing that I thoroughly enjoyed was the fact that it wasnt just "hey i want this" answered with "ok ill do it"; i was able to actually collaberate and come up with a great idea for my tattoo here.

Steve is the absolute best artist around. I have had work done at other tattoo shops in the area and was never completely satisfied with the end result. Per the recommendation of several friends I went to see Steve for my next tattoo. He is honest, professional and very friendly. His shop is a very comfortable environment that is also home to 2 other great artists. It was such a pleasant experience that I brought my wife in to get one too. Since that first experience at Firehouse Ink we have both been back for more and are now planning our 4th tattoos with Steve. Steve and his staff are the only people that I trust with such a big and important decision that will last a lifetime. His creativity and talent is world class. If you have been thinking about getting your first tattoo or are looking for the best place to get your next tattoo I highly recommend you going to Firehouse Ink.

I went to Firehouse Ink for my first tattoo after numerous recommendations from friends and coworkers. I spoke with Matt, told him what I was wanting and set up the appointment. Within a couple of hours, he sent me an awesome rough sketch of the piece. The overall atmosphere of the shop is very laid back, but very clean. It definitely helped to put my mind at ease since this was my first piece. Matt turned my idea into an awesome tattoo. He made sure that I was doing okay throughout the whole process and did not need a break. He also provided great aftercare instructions. I recommend the shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo, and certainly recommend Matt as an artist. Since my experience, both my dad and my sister have also gone to Firehouse and had awesome experiences as well.

Firehouse Ink is a very respectable, clean, and professional shop. Every piece of art that comes from Steve, Matt, or Ken is a custom made piece especially for the customer. There are no clip art books in the shop to be seen, every piece is custom drawn. The environment in the shop is the most comfortable I have ever felt in a tattoo gallery. My wife and I have spent over 20 hours in a Firehouse chair, and already have our next tattoos being drawn up. If you want a gorgeous piece of art that you wont regret then Firehouse Ink is the place you need to be. Steve Bachman is our artist and our favorite, but we have seen work from all three and the only word that comes to mind is AMAZING!!!

I just started getting tattooed within the last year. Before getting my first, I asked my friend who had been tattooed in some of the Valdosta shops where I should go. He quickly answered Firehouse. I went and made an appointment with Matt the next day and couldnt have been happier. It was a great environment, I was comfortable, and extremely pleased with the work. Since then, Ive been tattooed twice again by Matt and once by Steve. Im happy with all of my ink and plan on going back to Firehouse when I get my next one. If you are looking for a place to be tattooed, I would greatly recommend Firehouse Ink.

I have been going to Firehouse Ink since 2003. I now live in Colorado and wouldnt even think about going to someone out here for another tattoo. Instead I am going to fly back to GA for my next tattoo because no one is putting any ink on me except Steve. Steve has a talent that far exceeds anything that any other artist can bring to the table, to the point where I would rather spend several hundred extra dollars on a plane ticket just to go back to Steve. Looking forward to coming back to firehouse ink.

The guys in the shop are very friendly and personable and work with you to give you the tattoo you desire. Matt did my tattoo of a cross integrated into a three leaf clover and it was exactly what I wanted and I plan to go back to have it shaded to add depth to the design. The shop is very clean and once you walk in the door you notice right away and it almost feels like youre at home there. I will definitely try to make it back again soon before we move to San Antonio.

This place is awesome! Dont be fooled by the outside because it looks a little rough but once you step through the door youre greeted with a comfortable atmosphere and great tattoo artists. Matt did my tattoo and not only was he friendly and gentle but he made sure I was comfortable the whole time and was very patient. Great experience, awesome tattoos and awesome people, Ill definitely be back!

Ken is the best so far!!! after reading the reviews my husband and i decided to go to firehouse ink and WOW were we satisfied with our tattoos..yes we were!!!! ken did a great job on both my husband and myself!!! we were so happy with his work that we made an appointment for the beginning of april. i will tell everyone about firehouse ink!! great enviroment, artist, & tattoos!!! thanks ken

Love the tattoos Steve did for me. Living down in St. Pete these days but its still very much worth the drive to get things done right rather than take my chances here with someone I dont trust. I always get compliments on them, and you can bet the next tattoo I get will be done by him too.

Mary was absolutely amazing she was so nice it was my first tattoo so I was prett nervous and she made me feel so comfortable. It turned out amazing I would definitely recommend this place I live 4 hours away in South Carolina and I would come here before I go anywhere else.
