DO NOT GO HERE. TLDR: You and your tattoo are just money to them. DO NOT USE MARIO. The previous review about him is, unfortunately, 100% true. 100% sketch. I went here for two sessions. First was fine, but it was just an outline for the colors and other designs to come. Went in for the second session, and he did not stay true to the design I strictly specified to him. In fact, he completely messed it up, making difficult to read and completely distinct from the motif I was trying to create. He was told to airbrush two colors to mirror/reflect another tattoo, and he did a horrible job of making them look anything alike. Completely distinct. It wasnt anything super complex either, simple shading. Basically did a color-by-number thing instead of lightly fading in color. Then he refused to be able to see it. Defensive and unprofessional. His line work and general attention to detail in a completely separate part of the design were also lacking. Honestly, he didnt even seem to try. He was rushed that day apparently and I dont think he ever really cared about the tattoo except for the money he was making off it/me. I did salt abrasion to fade it out, and it worked wonders. However, the owner, Anthony Dubois, outright refused to do anything to rectify the situation, pretty much from the get go. Rude and unethical. Kept saying it was "fine". That is not up to you to decide, Anthony. He actually kicked me out of the shop. I was being perfectly calm and cordial. Frustrated? Sure, but I was not causing a scene. This place is a joke. They will knowingly mess up your tattoo then refuse to do anything about it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is in response to David Demiglios one star review. This joker who claims that Mario messed his tattoo up never came to the shop to discuss what he felt was wrong with it before deciding he was going to try and remove it himself. Brilliant idea if you want to lose all chance of me fixing it or giving a refund. David was not willing to show me the tattoo and had it covered with an Ace bandage wrap. He showed me a pic of the tattoo before he "removed" it and another blurry pic that he claimed was the removed tattoo. The 1st pic of the healed tattoo looked fine. The 2nd pic looked more like some photoshop editing with the smudge tool. He demanded that I refund him for his tattoo and I refused. If he had spoken to me before he attempted to remove his tattoo I would have worked with him but since that wasnt the case and he was trying to dress down one of my artists in front of me I asked him to leave. At this point he made a scene in the lobby of my shop by yelling and cursing at me and whoever else was there. He then proceeded to call me inappropriate names and yelling "Stained Skin sucks" while outside the shop and down the block. David DeMiglio doesnt seem like a very stable individual in my opinion.

Went in to check out the shop and get some new work done. The guy at the counter was with a customer, which was fine, but when they were finished he didnt come over to me or even say hi. I continued to look through the books at the counter patiently waiting for him to come back to the front, but he only did so to answer a phone call. As a matter of fact, three or four total employees came in and out of the back to do random things (like walk his obese dog outside and back in the shop) all while not only not helping me, but completely ignoring me without so much as a look. There is a sign on the door about the customers not being assholes to the artists, but these guys are the real assholes. So overall, if you want to be treated like garbage and feel like a worthless, invisible human being, I highly recommend checking out Stained Skin.

I highly recommend Mario. He is an excellent artist with so much talent and creativity. He has worked on the majority of my pieces and I am beyond satisfied. His line work is very nice and crisp, his shading makes everything come to life, and his color work is terrific. I gave him ideas of what I liked and his mind immediately went to work. Ive referred family and friends to get color and/or black and gray tattoos by him and have seen nothing less than great satisfaction with everyone of them . Excited to book my next appointment with him in the near future.

I tried a different artist some years back and wound up going to Anthony to correct their work. That was over 7 years ago and over 20 tattoos later. The shop is top notch and they treat you like family whether its your first tattoo or youve been going there for years. Anthony is not afraid to listen to your ideas and design a piece that fits your vision while adding his years of experience to make sure it will turn out perfect. Ive recommended to friends and family who all have enjoyed the great service, artistic vision and competitive prices.

DONT GO HERE. Mario did my tattoo & I cant stand it. Or him. Was rude to me the entire time I was getting my tattoo done. Threatened to stop tattooing me because I was asking him about his background as an artist? He was sketchy. He was rude. Then after the tattoo he was being creepy & inappropriate. Mario is not a good artist & my tattoo is so SLOPPY! the line work is terrible. I was inpatient & just wanted a tattoo but now I complete regret going here. Please save yourself & go to one of the many other tattoo shops in Columbus!

I went to Ben Riffe in may to get a LARGE shoulder tattoo..He did it and we added stuff to it after i seen his lotus. I came back every 3 to 4 weeks for more stuff. 1 week ago he did my left arm from the wrist to my elbow in beautiful flowers. His prices are Great! he hears what you want and put on his spin.. I will always come to him for my future stuff.. Hes a great asset to the shop. Their very busy so if you come in to get tatted be patient. Step up ask for what you want you will be happy you did. Im a very Happy coustmer

Between myself, my husband and our son our last 7 tattoos were done @ Stained Skin. All by Shaun Skerchock. He is professional, clean and his talent is Amazing! The shop is clean, comfortable and the rest of the staff have always been very nice. We took our best friends this past weekend and Shaun worked and reworked all of our drawings until they were perfect for each of us! Everyone went away Extremely Happy and we have already made appointments for our next 2 tattoos @ the end of May!

BGMIKE - 1/27/12 - I recently had my first tattoo done by Anthony and found the whole experience great. The shop was fine, the other artist seemed like decent guys. Anthony was good to work with and open to my suggestions but definitely added his own personal touch to the overall design and best of all, he is good at what he does. The tattoo looks great and I am very happy with it. I would not hesitiate to recommend this shop or Anthony to my friends who might be looking to get a tattoo.
