I didnt hear about Liquid Chaos until I Googled "quality tattoo and piercing parlors near me" and for once Google didnt lie because while talking to friends, they all were very quick to praise Liquid Chaos. When considering where to go get your tattoos, and especially your piercings, Liquid Chaos is your savior. Ive browsed their tattoo artists portfolios and there is nothing but quality drawn and photographed onto those pages. Ive personally never had the honor and pleasure of being tattood by one of their artists, but I can tell you when the time comes, one of their fantastic artists will have the job and Im confident theyll be able to go above and beyond my expectations. I have witnessed a few very happy customers leave their doors with bright and bloody new tattoos as I waited for a piercing. I have no idea how anyone has ever received rude customer service from this establishment, that idea is insane to me. Youd have to have been one rude and arrogant customer to have gotten any type of attitude from any of Liquid Chaos employees. Not once have I ever seen or experienced rude service from the wonderful folks there, theyre always polite and just want to give you the best of the best when it comes to body modifications. Whenever I have questions, Ive always been greeted with pure knowledge and a helpful tip or two. Let me tell you about Knee, their piercer. I love this guy, he is my go-to piercer now, its going to be very hard to convince me theres anyone else out there better than him. He has done my double forward helix and my industrial and I cannot wait for him to do all the rest of my piercings on the list. Knee has the experience and the knowledge that goes unappreciated when it comes to body piercings. Now-a-days, it seems like anyone with access to the internet and has a hollow needle handing can call themselves a "piercer", or at least I get that feeling when I see some of the portfolios of other local piercers around down river. Knee is not the type of dude to let you walk out looking all ragamuffins. You can clearly see a difference when you compare his work to other piercers work. His knowledge of anatomy and how piercing can affect the body are needed in this type of work, I hope other piercers in the area use him as the prime example of a perfect piercer and strive to be as good as he is. (Or not, more money for him, and I am 100% supporting that movement.) Honestly, my experiences with Knee and his piercing skills are phenomenal. His piercings are quick and relatively painless. My industrial went very smoothly with him, there was a lot less pain than I expected. I can only credit this to how he properly sized my ear for the jewelry, angled the piercing correctly for the anatomy of my ear and how calming he is which helped me stay still through the duration of the piercing. Of course, with everything great, you might have to wait a few moments because there might be a line in front of you! Ive gone in and theres not line, and Ive gone in and theres about two people in front of me. Its no biggie though, they have sitting space, a TV, portfolios, and I mean, its 2016, play some game on your phone. I can say one thing though, Ive never been in their building and seen any type of less than great customer service and I have definitely never seen any less than quality work leave their building. Im just saying, this place is a gift and everyone Ive ever talked to has recommended them, especially Knee. I also highly recommend them, go! Theyll be more than happy to help you!

This place was good and they were good to me and talked to me throught the whole process of getting my nose pierced. But then if they tell you to message them if you got any questions and when you do,the piercer named John Knee will most likely give you an adittude.i had a question about my nose(got a bubble) and he threw a fit and told me to go out and spend $10 on some h2ocean products at their shop which i didnt have money for and he rudely said if u dont have the money for a piercing then u shouldnt get it done.very rude in my opinion. This is what he told me "Thats called being a adult. U need to pick your priorities. This is also why we dont pierce minors. You need to maintain your piercings. They r not a pierce and forget kind of thing. If u cant afford to take are of your piercings mabe u should have not got them. If u want to use salt and other Unrecommended products on your piercings go ahead. But do not ask for my help anymore." all because my cousin was told to use salt water so i was gonna use it and he started throwing a fit. If you get any piercings done hes really rude so i will not let him do it again

A few coworkers of mine go to Liquid Chaos in Brownstown and see Jimmie; he was originally recommended to me. I looked online at the portfolios of all the artists and decided to go to Russ, since his style seemed to fit better with what I was looking to get. I was able to consult in the morning and get my tattoo later that same evening because of a cancellation. I was so stoked. I showed Russ a few pictures and described what I wanted and when I got back in he drew up the stencil for me. He was very patient and understanding (since tattoos are permanent I was very happy about that). When the stencil was put on I asked to add a couple of things and he did that with no problem. During the process he was very kind, accommodating, and professional. My tattoo is detailed, has depth, and looks great. I will definitely be going back and recommending him to others.

I went to the Knee about a year ago to get my industrial bar hearing about how "great" he positions those piercings and he didnt do a good job at all. Also didnt give me hints and tips that I feel piercer should give their customers. Then I got my nose ring done by him as well and when I asked him to change it to a hoop he went from 20 gauge to a 16 and didnt use anything as lubricant, getting it changed hurt more than getting it changed. When I returned later that day he was hestitant to give MY jewelry back that I had paid for. I went to Beyond Reality in Wyandotte and she was so helpful and gentle, didnt hurt at all once I got we got the jewelry he had given me out. Also was cheaper! Never going to Liquid Chaos or the Knee again. Highly not recommended!!

I had a great experience with Knee. I got the Daith piercing to help my migraines and I must say that he did a great job. I expected it to hurt a lot which it didnt and afterwards I couldnt feel it unless I touched it. I used to get migraines at least 5 times a week and would get physically ill and not able to move for a 1-3 days. I havent gotten sick since I got that piercing and its been 3 months. I still get migraines but wow, this piercing made a huge difference. If you are considering getting the Daith piercing, definitely go to Liquid Chaos its very clean, they are friendly and Knee was great to work with. Thanks again for the great customer service!
