Im only writing this review because asked to rate my experience. I was a little scared after reading some of the reviews here, and with my big mouth letting them know this, they asked me to write one of my experience. It started off simply, like any other person I called around and got an idea of price. These guys were competitive and close. I do personally want to share something I learned calling these guys. When I called them asking them for a tensioner for my explorer I was told they didnt have one. But did happen to have the alternator. When I got there to pay for the alternator, the lady asked me if I still needed the tensioner. I accepted and waiting for a mater of minutes before both parts were placed in front of me. To my surprise I asked why I was informed they didnt have it when they really did? This is the part where I learned something. 1st they have no way supposedly to keep track of tensions really. 2nd they dont always know what tensions will work for my application. 3rd they cant guarantee the condition of the part till they physically verify it(could do it when pulling off the alternator for me.) So I asked how did they know it will work on my truck now? "Simple, we know we have a match for the year, engine size, and the alternator, so its got to be a perfect match." Next question, why didnt you just send someone to check it the first time I called you guys? "Sir, we have to stop a guy from another part he maybe pulling for another customer or work he is doing to check on a part which you may never come to purchase, or the part may have been damaged from the accident, or seized up for as long as the vehicle has been here." This led me to my final question, how do you know the accident could have damaged the tensioner and how do I know its not damaged anymore? "We can see pictures of all our cars and see it is wrecked in the front, and we have tested the part prior to removing it from the truck before presenting it in front of you." It now makes more sense to me how these guys work. Though over the phone they were quick to get rid of me, I realized when I got there what really happens. Sometimes you have a few calls going and these guys dont like to have calls on hold. I did realize they nearly never had me on hold like some of the other places did. And lastly, it cost them money to send people to check parts someone may never actually show up to buy. I guess seeing things from the other side helped me realize, things arent always what they seem to be. I would definitely go back to these guys for they appear honest and knowledgeable.

My luck always seems to run out when it comes to experimenting around for a deal. Ive been burned before by a few places on small parts. I would have just paid someone to do whole job for me, but didnt have a choice this time with being out of a job an all. I called a few places and these guys didnt stand out much from the rest. They just told me they had the part and were willing to be competitive on the price. I went down there to see the part. This is where it got a little scary. They were a little messy. When they say used parts, they mean used parts. All in all I bought my transmission from them with no warranty, as is. I figured I couldnt change my luck, the transmission wasnt going to get better or worse based on what I payed for it. So, I saved another 150. Im writing this to tell people that based on the latest review I read, I still gave them a chance and warranty is warranty. I asked the sharp fella there about the transmission that was sold to the reviewer that said M & R is a bad choice. They had a signed invoice from the shop and the invoice stated sold AS IS. That was enough for me to take a risk on my transmission. Give them a chance who knows, you may get lucky like me. Or maybe you cant READ like the other guy.

Even though this place had poor reviews I decided to go because I couldnt find the part anywhere else. I called to see what time they closed and Google the address. When I arrived I didnt see anything so I called back to confirm the address and they told me that location no longer exist. The guy on the phone wouldnt give me the new address claiming I wouldnt make it on time cause the stop pulling parts at 1:30 and close at 2:00 and the time I called was like 1:10. I ask could he just pull the part because i really need it I even left work 3 hours early to catch them. The guy told me no and hung up in my face. All I needed was a trunk latch it takes like half of a minute to take it off smh. I guess I will just buy a new one from the dealer. Id be damn if I give these ppl my hard earned money.

I had good customer service. I needed to sell and tow my car that had been in a wreck. Zee was prompt in responding and working with my schedule (which is inevitably flakey in the wake of a wreck!). I was surprised at this places professionalism and flexibility. Of course, I didnt get mega bucks for my car but I did get the sale price in email confirmation and Zee worked with us until it was towed, I even exchanged paperwork with the tow man so I didnt have to make a single trip to the office. Thanks for not adding to the stress of that week!

i read the reviews and well after all i decided to give it a shot since there one of the few yards that are open on saturdays, disregard all the talk came to find out while speaking to one of the sales representatives charlie, that there great guys and issues are formed by people not reading the signs such as, NO RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL PARTS, and well i have nothing bad to say there great guys made sure i had the correct parts before i left making me feel safe on the road. belive me i didnt want to go there but it turned worth my while.

Mr Auto Parts delivered superior service when I sold them my car. Zee didnt treat me as a customer, I was treated like a friend. He went beyond what any other business would have provided in this transaction: acting on my behalf in dealing with getting my car released from the body shop and reducing their fees, quickly picking up my car to keep me from having to pay more charges, and accommodating my schedule to finish the transaction. Mr Auto Parts is an honest and good business.

This place was a complete waste of time. I asked for a caliper pin, and the guy didnt know what it was. Poor customer service! dont even waste your time with this junk yard. I worked with other junk yards in the past, and they would help you with what ever part you need. Just straight up garbage!
