got here at 11. Its now 1pm. we placed a to go order. waited forever in line when we first got here just to have a random employee redirect us to a different area in the store without our asking and lose our spot in line, just to find out we had been in the right spot. so now weve wasted more time than needed. and the employees dont know what they are directing. then got to the front of the line... had to wait ANOTHER 5 minutes because they had to call up a waiter who took another 5 minutes!! she told us our food would be 10 minutes. its now been 30 minutes!! too bad we already paid otherwise I wouldve left long ago! terrible! no wonder there is noo parking!! nobody is taken care of in a timely manner!! alright now Im even more upset!! just got home. the quantity of food is ridiculous!! really??!! last time i went to a cracker barrel i had much more than this silly excuse for a meal. the ham was wayy too salty. the bacon was skinny and thin. not to mention, there was a strange hard rock in my plate. tried to bite it.. yeah Id rather not break my teeth. I think its supposed to be a scone?? I have no idea. scones are notorious for being dry! Not stale hard rocks! i threw it at the floor just to see what happened and only a corner chipped off. What??!! never again!

One of their employees is a thief. I went here on a Tuesday night, and while I was eating I took my sunglasses off and placed them on the table. I had my meal, and once it was time to pay, my waitress was nowhere to be found. I waited for over 15 minutes for her before I decided to just go up and pay the bill. I got up from the table, leaving my sunglasses. (I know, big mistake, but I was irritated for waiting so long for this waitress). I went back to the table to pick up my sunglasses, and EVERYTHING except the sunglasses was still there. The leftover food, the water, even my tip, was still there. However, the sunglasses, were not. There were only 2 other families in the restaurant at this time, who were sitting on the other side of the restaurant, no where near our table. I talked to the manager, who did little to nothing to help. She said she would check with her dishwashers the next day to see if anything showed up, but she would not question her employees. Her employees are the only ones who would have had an opportunity to take the sunglasses. This is a big reflection on Cracker Barrel and their practices. I will never again dine at a Cracker Barrel. Terrible experience.

I have alway enjoyed the food they have here but this location experiences is horrible. I have been here on several occasions and the wait for ordering to go has alway been long wait so I decide to try to call in first so the wIt would be better. I called in to place a to-go order to pick up about 15 minutes later. I show up exactly on time and payed for my order and I still waiting on my order 30 minutes laters. I ask the cashier on why it taking so long and they say they dont start cooking our order until we paid with something about a hot meal going cold! What?? What the point of ordering carry out if I going have to wait about the same times even longer than the when i come in to order or the dine in people? I have to be somewhere and I dont want to rush people so that why I called n advance and ask Id that will be okay and even enough time and be ready for me and the girl say sure no problem! Apparently I wasnt the only person because there was three other person also waiting on their order some even longer than I was. This was uncalled and worse they were not honest to me! I wont be coming back and giving you 1 star I would give 0 star but cant

Ordered a dish for pick up and the whole experience was unsatisfactory and full of errors. They had my order under the wrong name (which had apparently been a problem all day) and my name on the wrong order, so when I got there they tried to insist that I had already picked my food up five minutes prior. That eventually got sorted out and I got my food, but it was frustrating. They shouldnt have accused me of trying to commit fraud and pick up an order twice, ESPECIALLY if it was something theyd been messing up all day already! Got home to discover there wasnt any butter to go with the corn bread or mashed potatoes. In fact, the mashed potatoes were only that- dry, unseasoned potatoes. No butter, no gravy, no salt, and perhaps under a heat lamp too long- way too dry/thick/bland to eat. Ordered grilled fish, assuming that something grilled wouldnt be dripping with grease...wrong! So greasy it turned my stomach. I even tried squeezing it out and it was still too much, more grease than fish. If I wanted that, I wouldve ordered deep fried! (Im not convinced it wasnt ). Wont be ordering from this store again, not the first time weve had issues.

This is the second Cracker Barrel Ive been to. The service we got from the waitress was odd. She had pretty much zero personality, but she was great at keeping our drinks full. I really did not like that she brought our check before we had even finished eating (and never asked it we wanted anything else.) I had the Chicken Fried Steak dinner with corn, fries, and salad as my three sides. The salad came out before the rest of my meal, which I liked. It was a good salad. The rest of my meal was okay. The fries were so bad that I ate two and left the rest. The corn was pretty bland (even for corn), and seemed straight from a (cheap) can. The chicken fried steak itself was pretty good. Not the best, not the worst Ive had. My beau ordered the Sunday Special- Fried Chicken dinner, with pinto beans and mac n cheese for the two sides. He liked the pinto beans pretty well, but said that the mac n cheese was "cafateria-ish" (flavorless.) His fried chicken was really good. Two chicken breasts, breaded and deep fried til golden and super crispy. He gave me a taste, and I said that if we ever came back on a Sunday, I would get the fried chicken.

This food was one of the worst weve had in a restaurant ever... I have never been there and was so curious to try it! (im a foodie). It took our server long to take our orders, it was a full seated restaurant so i understood. It smelled good in there so the Hubby and i were looking forward to it. He ordered the Half pound bacon cheese burger. I had the haddock and my son the chicken tenders. All the food had no flavor at all.. My son didnt even eat his chicken fingers.. 4.85$ for 3 chickenfingers with no side (the kids meal).. My fish had no flavor, the rice pilaf, the hashbrown casserole, no flavor... I had the dumplings that were recommended.. I bite into it once, it was sitting in a weird slimey gravy like sauce. Hubby and i noticed the restaurant was full of elderly people (it was a weekend night) so we assume that maybe the food is not seasoned for them looking out for their costumer..I dont know, this place is totally overrated!
