I work on a lot of cars and have been doing so for 18 years and in all my years of getting parts I have never been treated as bad as I was in this store and by managment for no reason. It started as I checked online for the store hours before I left the house it said they are open till 10pm, so I got there at 9:16pm as I walked in the door there was rap msic playing on the store radio and one of the employees was in front of the counter dancing I went over to get return a rental tool and get some other things at hat point the employee told me all the computers have been shut down and the cant do anymore transactions for the night come back in the morning. I then asked him if the store was open till 10pm and he replied with an attitude yes the store is open till 10pm but we cant do any transaction till the morning because we shut down the registers, there was another guy there counting a register and dident offer to help either. At this point I thought the employees were just lazy and trying to get out of work so I was in the parking lot writing an email to Autozone another customer went walking in the store at 9:31pm and got 1 quart of oil and they served him, now at this point I feel it was a racial issue that they dident want to help me because never dealing with theese employees before I dont know what else it can be. At that point I contact the store manager and got an email back from regional both stating someone will contact me witch never happened. I went to the store later that day to return the tool the manager dident say anything to me and the same guy from the night before was working so I returned the tool and went to Advance Auto for my parts. It has been 2 weeks and I still have not heard from anyone and have sent emails back to Sheryl Young from regional with no response so I called her to ask for contact info for the Ceo, the president, or corp. Because I dont feel like anyone looked into this matter and nobody ever contacted me and she dident return my emails, she was very rude did not want to give me the info and would nit let me speak at all everytime I started to talk she would cut me off and talk over me after 6 times or so I started trying to talk over her because she would not let me speak and then started to threaten to hang up on me for raising my voice when she was the rude one interrupting me and over talking me everytime I spoke, she finaly said I can speak to a regional manager and gave me the phone # to a store in Jonesboro. I will still be trying to contact corp. and will no longer spend my hard earned money at Autozone to be treated this way. They have the by far the worst customer service, employees and managment I have ever seen in a large company.

As a prior manager for this company after active duty the manager I believe Endia doesnt know anything about company return policy. Bought a cam sensor that immediately threw the code so swapped it and the new one did the same thing but actually had a hole and a crack in it. She refused to return and refund the money as we had to go to Hyundai and the AutoZone sensor was a piece of crap and wasnt compatible. She said that we had to file a claim and dispute that the sensor failed But probably wouldnt get our money back because it is electrical. Said we had to go back to the original store. Basically a tactic to not show a return on their end of day tallies so that it shows they made profits and didnt do returns. I know how this scam works I got several managers in trouble for it while working in Texas. Customer satisfaction is primary not the company profits. I buy 99% of my parts from AutoZone and if this manager actually knew something about cars she would know that not all aftermarket sensors will work or be compatible with the vehicle and that only oem sensors would work. She was rude and nasty about it. Will never purchase from this store again. The problem with AutoZone is that that hire people that know retail but dont know a Damn thing about automotive repair. She is a disgrace to the company and has no business working there. Fyi we went right down the street and had a hassle free return and the oem sensor worked perfectly. So study mechanics and not just how to look a part up.

The service from this location is indescribable. The lady helping us interrupted helping us when we were almost finished to check out four other people, direct two and answer the phone. Then, when she went to get the part we needed, she got the wrong one. She clearly knew where everything was in the store, you could tell by the way she was directing others to find what they needed in its exact location without even having to stop to think. But then, when it came to finding a part thats in the back of the store that cant even be improperly placed by a customer, she came back with the wrong part and thought we wouldnt notice and said it was in the wrong place when we pointed out it was the wrong part. Bologna. Someone who knows exacrly where everything is in the store, you purposefully picked up the wrong part. The service at this location is about the same as the intelligence of its employees.

This store needs a lesson in customer service. I was in the store nearly 10 minutes before my presence was acknowledged. Two men came in after me, they were greeted and assisted immediately. Afterwards, an employee looked at me and says that someone will be with me shortly. About 5 minutes later, he asked how he could help me. I asked if he would test my car battery and starter. He stated, "I dont think we have the tool in the store to test the battery." I asked if he was going to check for the tool. He then says, "I know that we dont have it. Theres another store about seven miles away on Veterans." I just held my tongue and left the store.

My cars battery died in the Home Depot parking lot located down the road from this AutoZone location. While waiting for my husband, two Thornton Rd. AutoZone employees happened to drive by and offered their assistance. They went back to their shop to get the tools theyd need and removed my car battery for my husband who was en route bringing the new one. These two employees did this for me during what I believe was their day off. Thornton Road AutoZone has some exceptional people working for them.

The store does not have good customers service. Went in to get a part. Because got wrong part. The woman stay on phone not with a customer. But with her boyfriend. Would not make a effort to see if a command part was in store. Told me to go somewhere else. Man came stood in line. Got mad put the oil he has back left the store. Went to another store. Which told me a lot of customers come in to the store and complain about the two women that are at the store.
