I was in there today to return a pair of converse that I had bought. I accidentally put the shoes in a converse box that were for another type of converse shoes, so i took them to the store to return them. The total for my purchase was $48.13 but they only refunded $44.98. The reason was because I used a $5 dollar off coupon..??? This did not make sense to me. I thought they refunded the total purchase. The converse originally were $49.98.....but with the $5 off coupon plus the $3.15 taxes, it ended up being $48.13. But like I said, I only got $44.98 refunded.... the cashiers there all argued with me and said I was wrong. I was very annoyed so I left it alone. And since I needed the shoes, I purchased them, the shoes that I wanted apparently were more. $55 plus they didnt give me the $5 off coupon. Never going back to shoe carnival! Doesnt even deserve the one star!!!!!

I just walked out to do an exchange and a friendly and well mannered gentleman named Esteban helped me and I could give him a 5 stars. But the reason Im giving one star is because as I was trying to get inside the store I was having a hard time trying to get in with my stroller and getting the door open at the same time , while the assistant store manager was in front of me watching me struggle and did not help me hold the door she was standing by the door watching me struggle and then just walked away and once I was in asked me how could she help me I was very disappointed. We are business owners of 2 businesses and customer service , respect and manners is one of the most important things. I dont even want to come back to store its unacceptable that an employer being the assistant manager has those manners.

When I originally came in everyone was very pleasant, I was in and out very quickly. I tried on one shoe in the store of each pair, when I got home I realized that the other shoe was sewn together strangely and didnt fit right. I went to return it with the receipt a week or so later. The general manager was there and gave me a hard time for not having the box with me. They were defective. After giving me a hard time he allowed me to return them for half of the price that I paid for them. This guy was rude and handled everything horribly. He wouldnt allow me to get cash for the shoes from my debit card, he barely allowed me to take my original receipt back. I can guarantee you I will never set foot in another shoe carnival.

Not the best location. Parking is terrible. Selection is not worth the stop. At best, this is somewhere close I can go to buy new converse.
