Update: Reduced to 1 Star because I found a screwdriver laying on my battery when I popped the hood. Service department is subpar to say the least. I go to Hayes to get my oil changed because it is within walking distance to my school and 4 oil changes for $65 is a pretty good deal. However, the few times I have been there I wouldve thought they didnt want to make any money (especially considering service advisors are paid on commission). Almost every time I go there, I stand awkwardly in their terribly designed service department waiting for someone to greet me, because I honestly have no idea where I am supposed to go to get help, and rarely is there someone to greet me). Last time I went for the oil change they told me I needed tires and to replace a part of my suspension when I came to pick up the car. They didnt give me a quote on anything, so I went somewhere else to spend my $450 on tires. Hayes even have the advantage of convenience over other places since I can just drop it while I go to school, but do nothing with it. I actually did call to get quotes after I left but they never called back with prices. Today I dropped it to get the oil changed while I got lunch. I seemed like a secondary priority when I arrived (heard the bell when I ran over the air hose and it still took him a while to realize I was there waiting), and I didnt even get his name. He asked me to wait in the Customer Lounge whlie I waited, but I told him to give me call when it was done. I stopped by the "Lounge" on my way out to discover a room with nothing but a TV. Literally nothing, no furniture, water, nothing. Im not sure if thats a temporary deal or what but needs to be addressed. So, two hours and no phone call later, I go back to see if its done and I see my car out front and the keys on the guys desk with my paperwork under it. Glad it was ready, but still never got a phone call. On my paperwork, it says a courtesy inspection was filled out, but I didnt have any paperwork about it, so I doubt they checked anything (probably could have sold me windshield wipers at least, maybe air filter of cabin filter too). I used to be a service advisor, and I understand the difficulties that come along with the job, its probably the most stressful job in the dealership. However, that doesnt excuse the lack of communication Ive experienced with every visit. I mean, why why not call me and tell me I need tires and give me a quote. I might say "Okay, go ahead and do it now since we have the car in already." That saves the customer, the mechanic, and the service advisor time, not to mention makes you more money!!! I was also disappointed that they do not have anywhere to fill out a survey after the visit online or otherwise, so I had to turn here. I hope they see this and work on some of the things Ive pointed out. They are spared a one star score because their prices arent bad, are reasonably timely, and the female advisor (forgot her name) is friendly.

I was looking for a four wheel drive truck with solid hp and torque, good gas mileage and plenty of space. I found several trucks across the major brands that had some of these features. After putting in at least 60 hours worth of research in the full sized truck market across all of the major brands, the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman crew cab truck really caught my eye. It had all of the features I wanted and some that I didnt think I could afford at a reasonable price (skid plates, back up camera, dual climate control, storage in the floor board, etc.) Ram really has figured out how to bring value thru engineering to the average Joe looking for a solid truck. They have a solid pulse on people that enjoy the outdoors as well as those who like to hunt and fish. Once I identified what I wanted and what my budget was I contacted 10 plus dealers in the Atlanta area and told them exactly what I was looking for but none of the reps I talked with could find an Outdoorsman with the features I wanted within the budget I had to work with. Vince Mecardante called me back immediately and asked for details, the conversation was quick, efficient and polite. He was the only sales rep to find the truck I wanted at the price I needed. He sent an email over with good photos of the truck and included his photo in the signature as well so I had a face to put with the name. We had an excellent sales experience with Vince and I appreciated his honest, ethically sound approach. Ruben in the finance department was pleasant to work with as well, he will shoot you straight. My experience with Hayes in Gainesville was fantastic, it was nice doing business with both Vince and Ruben. They will look you in the eyes and treat you with respect and you can tell that its not just a show. They gave me a good deal on the truck and gave me what my trade in was worth, much better than other offers I received. I only have 5000 miles on my Ram Outdoorsman but it is exactly what I thought it would be and I couldnt be more happy with my truck. My wife loves the comfortable ride and I love the power (Hemi V8). On my daily commute down 400 Im getting 18 mpg city (and thats in stop and go traffic). On the interstate at 70 mph Im getting 20-22 mpg. I am providing this information unsolicited by Ram or Hayes, these are my real world results that I am very happy with. Go see Vince at Hayes and buy yourself a Ram 1500 Outdoorsman, you will love it.

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!! We found a car at Hayes Chrysler through an online website. We worked with Jason Pirkle and when we had decided on purchasing a used 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee we called Jason and asked him if there were any scrapes or dents that were not shown in the picture. He said he would walk around the car on the phone and look. He said there was no scrapes or dents. We requested a pictures of the passenger side because there were no pictures shown of that side. When the pictures were sent there looked to be a VERY OBVIOUS DENT ON THE FRONT BUMPER. (Picture included in review) If someone was walking around specifically for dents and scrapes why wouldnt they have seen such an obvious dent??? So after seeing this dent we decided on a price. This was Saturday.... We were going to go through our bank for the loan because we had a relationship with them and the APR was low. However, because it was Saturday we had to wait until Monday to sign everything. We asked Jason if we needed to put any money down to secure the Jeep. He said no and assured us the car was ours and told us he was emailing us the bill of sale. He didnt email us the bill of sale until Monday at 11am. As we were walking into the bank Monday, Jason called to let us know the Jeep had been sold to another customer and they were signing the papers. We had already provided proof of insurance and all we needed to do was sign the loan. We were lead on for 3 days, took off work, and rushed to get all requested paper work to them so we could get them the sale before the end of the month. We asked to speak to manager, Shawn Evans, and without the slightest sound of regret he informed us the vehicle was sold and basically told us because that because we didnt live there and werent in the showroom, the car went to the other buyers. If looking to to purchase a car online I strongly suggest looking elsewhere they were not honest about what kind of shape the car was in and then after dragging us along they pulled the car out from under us.
