I go here to get anything new (systems, games, novelties, etc) just for the sake of nabbing the rewards points to get free stuff but Ill never do trades at this place. They will rip you a new one on those corporate trade in prices and will go even deeper if you want cash and not store credit. Its rare that I do any trades anyways, but when I do I just go a quarter mile down the street to Wizards. Most of the time, these guys are real helpful and if its not too busy, you can even get a good nerdy convo on with some of them. These guys sold me a used Xbox 360 years ago and it overheated and they replaced it free of charge for another. Same thing happened with the replacement so they knocked off 25 bucks of a new one and I walked out happy. And to all the guys saying theyll run you around and push you to preorder and get all the extra junk; you need to realize that they are paid and trained to push those things and also just learn to say no. Ive found that if you just say you arent interested in that particular franchise and ask about the preorder release of a game you are interested in, theyll drop it.

The previous reviews are true. They are pure ripoffs. Guest satisfaction is one of thier least concerns. They try to up sale you extra stuff you dont need by manipulating the information. They told me their gamestop insurance covers physical damages on my system. I cross checked online after my purchase and found out they dont. I asked for at least store credit back and they declined. They were stubborn! As a result, I went to the one in Oakwood and they gladly refunded my money. Im strictly taking my business to the one in Oakwood. Its sad that Oakwood has to fix all of Gainesvilles problems. In the process, they lose money just by trying to satisfy a guest because each store has their own required sales. By me getting my money back Oakwood lost money and the one in Gainesville stays with the money. In return, I am buying games solely from Oakwood. Its crap like this that leads other stores to struggle in staying open.

I dont understand the poor reviews I saw on here. Ive had nothing but exceptional service every time I go in here. It seems like the manager works all the hours and is always here! Great guy and very knowledgeable. He always listens and has good suggestions for the items I am looking for. Yes, it is a very busy store. But compared to other Game Stops that I have shopped in, I would say the customer service and shopping experience here is well above the average. Thank you for doing a great job!

Ive been to this gamestop three times. The first time I went there was a younger man running the register. His people skills were more than lacking. He was rude and short with me. He made you feel rushed to leave the store. The second time I went a young lady was running the register and was very good. She was polite and ready to answer any questions you had. The third the young guy was there and in a foul mood. This makes you want to go to another shop to purchase your games.

One of the employees doesnt listen to the customers at all. He does whatever he wants even if you tell him no. All of the employees here are very good salesmen, which is really annoying. Theyre always trying to talk you into preordering something and wont let it go at "no". If you enjoy being swindled and your ear talked off, by all means, go here. But Id rather just buy my game and get out.

People inside seem like theyre more involved in themselves or making other people feel less important when they ask for older items or games. Also the parking is terrible only two or three spots to park in front of the store and if those are filled you have to park in the Walmart parking lot and walk around.

This place is pretty good but once it took me forever to checkout because there was only one guy behind the counter talking on the phone to customer, it wasnt his fault it was just under staffed when I went. This is a pretty busy area.

This is the best Game Stop. Bryan is super knowledgeable and this extends to his staff. No pushy pre-order sales either. I always walk away satisfied and knowing what I want next time.
