I felt very disrespected at this Home Depot on Saturday July 22 around mid morning. Just went in to grab some batteries for my garage door opener. Went through self check out, scanned my batteries and put them in the baggage area. As Im paying for my batteries the older caucasian woman working self checkout takes it upon herself to walk up to me, grab my bag and look in it (as if I was stealing) put it down and told me to have a nice day (really awkward). I stood there in disbelief for a second and walked away. As Im leaving I turn around just to see if other customers were getting the same treatment and of course they werent. Im a 33 year old African America. I hate to pull the race card but I feel I may have been profiled. By the way I wasnt dressed like a "hoodlum" or "thug" or doing anything suspicious to be treated like that. I was in and out in like 10 minutes. I may reframe some spending my money here anymore and its a shame because the people here always seem to be great at this location except for this one time. Its always one that makes everybody else look bad.

Over the last 6 months I have spent $14 thousand+ dollars at the Douglasville location. I had a couple of items that I had purchased and not needed on the job site. Today decided to take them back for store credit to purchase some other things. These items were on literally 20+ receipts and I was not going to take the time to go through all my receipts and find the items I was returning. So the returns desk rang up my returns and right before issuing the store credit I was told the return was denied and she had to give me back the items. I ask why and she said "thats how our system works now". I was given a small receipt print out with a number I could call to inquire why my return was denied. So I called the number and was simply told home depot reserves the right to refuse any return even for store credit if a receipt does not accompany the return. Soooo Im a Lowes guy now...

We visited your store located in Douglasville Ga. and had a REALLY bad cashier. Her name was Dot and we were in on 9-1-15 around 9:00 pm. First when we went to the check out counter with the light on, no one was around. We noticed a lady get up from sitting on some boxes in the tool dept and started walking VERY slowly toward us. When she arrived at the counter she acted like we were bothering her. She had the worst attitude of anyone I have ever encountered at home depot. She kept this bad attitude the entire time. She is a BAD face for Home Depot and needs to be in the back room with NO customer interaction. She made me not want to come back. We are dedicated Home Depot customers and have been for 20 years but will be looking at Lowes from now on.

Absolute worst customer service from inside store!! Never has employees available for departments, takes at least 20 mins to even reach someone who seems to know about 10% of the department. We spend over $5000 a month at this particular store and cant believe how bad it is every time.. Also forklift operators need more intensive training and fork extensions for loading trucks is a must... Will be discussing this with corporate management in regards to every issue that continues daily at the douglasville location. I am ashamed to call this my home store.

These guys hit me with this stupid idea that if I dont have my drivers license with my name, I cant use my store credit, because it has to be my name. Thats the dumbest thing ever. What if im knee deep in work and cant go? Am I supposed to give my license to someone else to use my store credit?

I love home depot. Today...i did not. I needed some flooring and couldnt get anyone to help me. I was there for an 1 n a half. Didnt even get acknowledged by the 1 person in flooring. Was planning on buying flooring a vanity a toilet and paint. Left empty handed. Frustrated

I ordered a ladder and fire extinguisher, with the instructions to LEAVE IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSE...ladder in front, and fire stuff in front. Also it looked like someone threw the box on the front steps..not ordering anything from here again..LOWES HERE I COME!
