The best hardware store ever! They know me by name, treat me like a neighbor and take great care of me. Skip, the owner, has a bit of a reputation as a....hmmmm....how should I phrase it? Cranky guy? But to be honest he's a good guy that will get you what you want if he doesn't have it tucked away in some distant corner of the rambling multiple building establishment. Parnell's is truly a gem the like of which is a vanishing breed in today's world of Megasized chain hardware stores where the employees are ignorant robots who don't know a monkey wrench from a popcorn fart. The best part? Parnell's is less than a sixty second walk from my backyard shop!

called on a sunday afternoon to ask if carried riding mower engine part. Instead of just checking if stocked, was told repair techs were not in, only 2 working today, and he (other) was with customer. She said closing at 4 (was 3:15), suggested call back monday. Felt like could have at least asked to hold until talk to someone who knows what store stocks/sells.

Im certain if they dont have it, you truly dont need it! Got tour (yes it is that big) and couldnt believe the things they have there! They even sell beer and wine. I could have spent a fortune on things I didnt even know I needed that I found while browsing the shelves. And the staff is friendly, helpful and best around.
