Alarm System Nightmare - I rate them a -10. However in order to write a post, you have to rate at least 1 star! Due to the sensitivity of the glass breaks, my alarm would to go off for no reason. If it was windy or raining, you can bet the alarm was going off. I called System 5 multiple times to find out if the sensors could be adjusted. To no avail, I could not get the sensors adjusted. Finally, after the alarm went off at 11:32pm, while I was asleep, was the last straw. I called back to System 5 to speak with Mr. Brown, the owner, to find a solution. He said he would send his top technician to replace the glass breaks. Ha, that was a joke. The technician only replaced one glass break and it wasn’t either of the glass breaks that was given me problems. I called Mr. Brown back to discuss with him and he was downright rude, ugly, offensive, and lied. He even blamed me for the issues with the system, saying they inherited old parts from whoever installed some of the equipment. I explained to him that I had recently purchased the house and that was the first time he or anyone at System 5 said they didn’t install all the equipment. He continued to blame me and became irate. After going around and around with Mr. Brown, I ended the conversation and told him I wanted out of my contract. He agreed to let me out of the contract. However, that wasn’t the end. I called back to System 5 a week later to obtain my final bill only to discover the contract had not been cancelled. Per an employee, I was told that I was discussed during an office meeting and Mr. Brown decided not to cancel my contract. Again I was not notified by Mr. Brown or anyone at System 5. At this point, I have contacted my attorney to get me out of the contract with System 5. On a side note, the batteries in the motion detector and driveway probe do not last long. Bad management and poor customer service, I will not refer anyone to System 5 Electronics!!

A customer over 2 1/2 years, one year under contract...loyalty dont mean a damn thing! My house was broken into and robbed, the police contacted 7 min later (they didnt show up for 25 min...but thats on the police department). Key pad malfunctioning, when I call for service sometimes I get a response and a technician, sometimes I dont (there you have it...CPT). My entire system shut down over the weekend (monitoring alerts on Sat & Sun) I frantically called the so called "after hours" number and left 2 messages, NO ONE ANSWERED OR CALLED BACK! Called the main number and left messages on the owners voice mail...waiting to hear from him. I didnt sleep all night vigilantly guarding my home. Monday at 8:05 a female calls me all stating that she see alerts on her panel (I knew that), and when I informed her of my frantic calls she tells me that she was/has the "after hours" phone...and, she didnt receive my call...I LOST IT! No, the system cant save my life, but it will alert me so that I can have a fighting chance...thats what Im still paying for! If I dont have that, then wth do I have?! I dont stereotype but I will call a spade a spade...and thats why most said businesses dont flourish; because they prove statistics right! *Okay, its 10:30am I talked to Mr. Maceo Brown (Owner) and finally got the issue resolved, and my system is back up and running. Come to find out, that I disconnected the system when I flipped the circuit breaker...and the battery only lasts for upto 48 hours. HOWEVER!! HAD THEYD CALLED ME BACK (the 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th time) We would have resolved the issue before it escalated...and I lost sleep. for that I am removing the 1 star and replacing it with 3 stars...cause they still didnt respond to my 2 service calls last summer, and this, not answering on the weekend.

I am the board president of my HOA in Union City, GA and we were interested in System 5 for community cameras. We had a set appointment for Friday at 3:45. The temperature outside was 43 degrees and windy. 3:45 came and went with no System 5 showing up. I called the rep, no answer. Finally, a little after 4:00pm, the System 5 rep. Called and informed me the she needed to reschedule because she was still in Lithonia. Lithonia is a 48 minute drive from Union City. With this being said, the rep knew 48 minutes in advance that she was not coming and still allowed us to sit in 48 degree weather,, for more than 20 minutes knowing that she had no intention of showing up. When she sent me a text message to reschedule, I informed her that we were no longer interested in meeting with System 5. I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism in my life. System 5 may offer a great product but unfortunately, our community will never find out.

We have been with System 5 system since 2009 and for the first few years things were fine and we would have suggested them. In the last 6 months the customer service has been terrible. Lack of accountability all around. Jennifer is a terribly rude person and she is the third employee that seems to not understand that this not about them and seem to be lacking greatly in professionalism. Maceo refuses to take responsibility for his employees and deflects. This is the third time we have had issues and we are currently looking for a new company. Find a different company because clearly System 5 does not value their long time customers and lacks understanding of how to provide customer service. They will not consistently handle your concerns with understanding.They are unclear how customer service works. Not sure how simple I can make it.

I had service with this company for several years. My house was broken into and they never called the police. The criminals were in my house long enough to take 2 computers, 50 inch TV, cameras, etc. $10,000 in total stolen items. I choose not to renew my annual subscription due to their poor service and they charged me an early termination fee. I asked for documentation of this and they refused to give it to me and threatened me and told me to pay or they were going to mess up my credit and add a bunch of charges to my account to increse how much I owe them. I am now fighting with the collections company and talking to the BBB to get resolution. BEWARE!!!!

Ive been a customer for over 10 years. Every time Ive moved in the past, the transition has been fairly seamless. Also, customer service has always been superb until now. I moved to my new home almost a month ago and requested a transfer; STILL no installation!! Every time I call, Im transferred to sales but no installation is scheduled. Meanwhile, my account is being debited for services Im not even receiving. So I called again to cancel my service altogether and again transferred to sales...ridiculous!!! My next email will be to BBB!

This is a great company. They do exactly what they promise and we have never had a problem. They deliver wonderful service and their customer service is superb. Great quality at a great price. I highly recommend this company. We have been customers for over 12 years.
