I had the same experience buying wine as a reviewer below. I was with my girlfriend who is 29 and Im over 32. She did not have her ID with her, but had a picture of her ID on her phone. I had mine and I was making the purchase. Basically I could not buy the wine until she drove home to bring her ID (we live close by) because she was behind me in line. If I wanted to go buy wine for a minor, I could have him wait outside. Or go back to the store without the minor. Or go to a different register. I understand that they have policies, but at least the managers should have common sense and be able to make decisions based on clear facts and basic common sense. Called for a manager. One girl full of tattoos , piercings and full of herself showed up and kept insisting that I cant buy the wine without us both showing physical IDs. They made us feel very uncomfortable and wait there until my gf went home and brought her ID. And we did show them a clear photo of my girlfriends ID. Stupid young managers who lack common sense. Anybody can buy alcohol for minors if they wanted to. They dont have to go both at the same time through the register. They did not even apologize after we brought them the second ID after 15 minutes of debates and 15 min of waiting. I just did not have the time to drive to a different store at that time, but from that time on, I try to buy most of my stuff at costco or kroger.

Customer service at this Walmart is abysmal to say the least. One day I was looking for an item down an isle, and one of the managers came and stood in front of me, with his back to me where I was perusing for my item, to do some inventory I presume coz he had one of those devices they scan with. He did not acknowledge me did not say a thing, just came and blocked me where I as making my selection without a word; as I stood there shocked by this behavior from a manager no less, he turned around stared me down from head to toe, then turned back around to do his inventory. No, hello, excuse me, do you need some help? NOTHING! While like most I have come to the conclusion that you are not to expect much from Walmart, this Walmart right here takes it to a whole other level of CUSTOMER DISSERVICE. I lived in Colorado and Wyoming where the Walmart customer service was great; I dont know what happens here when it is supposed to the land of southern hospitality. In all fairness however several of the cashiers are absolutely great, I think management should take customer service lessons from them, also the Walmart on Chastain Road which is the only other one I have been to is fairly decent also.

I LOATHE big box stores but Wal-Mart is unavoidable. Despite having an issue with management once over a price of something bc it wasnt just an issue with say someone not wanting to put an item back where it came from or being to lazy to. My item was printer ink. I can see why it was a hassle to bc there is SOOO many. *note sarcasm* the type I was after was STOCKED in the wrong place. Anyway, the manager told me that she didnt think I was dumb enough to think my item was only $12. As I was buying all 3 colors plus 80 4x5 paper. It WAS indeed only $12. Bc Kodak is awesome like that. So instead of just saying Im sorry someone must have not paid attn while stocking. I cant give you your item for said price. OR that she WOULD give it to me for said price just this once bc its false advertising. I worked at BigLots for many yrs and ALWAYS had to give the items for posted prices. The prob was she insulted my intelligence and her attitude was beyond nasty. It was totally uncalled for. I didnt even ask for the lower price when the ink rang up more. Other than that I tolerate having to shop there mostly by convenience, theres nothing else around.

Very upset with Louis the cashier. I was shopping for groceries and decided I would like to buy a bottle of wine to go with my dinner tonight. While in the check out line, I was informed that I could not buy the bottle of wine, because I was accompanied by my 17 year old sister. I am a 25 year old college graduate who works as a ER nurse in the Atlanta area. My dad worked at this Wal-Mart location for over 15 years!! This has never been an issue for my family before today. I would never give or allow my underage sister to drink. Then to make matters even worse, the lady behind me that was accompanied by her child was able to buy two bottles of champagne no questions asked! I felt very mistreated as a costumer and very stereotyped as a person. I will be doing most of my shopping at Kroger or Publix from now on.

AWFUL customer service on the phone. How many employees work at this Walmart? Because there are about zero that seem to be able to answer a phone call. The operator of the phones kept trying to transfer me back to Domestics. After about 5 tries and no answer, she puts me over to the Hunting department. Once the hunting department answered, they asked what I needed help with. As soon as I said the word "Curtains", I was interrupted and was told I was being transferred over to Domestics. Needless to say, I sat on the phone for 30 minutes on hold and NO one answered. If the woman would of listened to me, I could of told her no one was answering in that department in the first place. Horrible customer service.

The pharmacy gave me a wait time of 30-40 minutes until my sons antibiotics, and breathing treatment medicine would be ready and here I am almost two hours later still waiting on his medicine. My son has a double ear infection and is extremely fussy right now but I thought to pass the time Ill get a few things I need and by the time Im done the medicine will be ready. Nope. Still waiting. With my crying son. If I would have known it would be two hours I would have gone home and come back two hours later.

While the workers I encountered were friendly, the time is took for me to get an oil change was not as favorable. I went to Walmart to get an oil which took about an hour and thirty minutes until I had my car back. To be fair, the automotive section looked kinda understaffed. Which I know wasnt there fault but what ever the case may be. Waaaaay too long for a simple oil change. If going to Walmart for an oil change, as a tip try going in the morning or during a slow time.

Zoo. Rude customers, and some rude staff. My cashier was nice but asked her manager about an issue with her register tonwhich she replied "I dunno" and walked off. Another employee upon seeing the registers get backed up decided to open another and proceeded to walk right past me and invite someone else to her line. I know she saw me since I joined a line right in front of her. On the flip side, prices are good and the store is relatively clean and organized.
