Everythings "Not Peachy" in Georgia, at Loris Bridal. If I could give a -5 I would. I can only describe a very disenchanting, disappointing, demeaning experience with Bridals by Lori. How excited we all were to look at gowns that day ~ especially at Bridals by Lori. After all, we had driven 850 miles just to go there. We got to our appointment and being a plus size, had very little to choose, which I understood. However, under very high pressure, I put a deposit on a gown. My wedding wasnt until over a year away. WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO TRY IT ON ~ 1st mistake, KNOWING that I had had gastric sleeve surgery and would be having a full body lift of which I would be losing 60 pounds plus inches ~ 2nd mistake. Unbeknownst to me, the gown was ordered immediately after full payment, fully aware of my situation. I honestly thought, surely, not until after my weight loss and closer to the wedding, still over a year and 60 pound weight loss away. I was notified 3 months later that the gown was surprisingly in early! My wedding wasnt until the end of July and it was just November! I was not even aware it was ordered without current measurements. My dress is 7...SEVEN sizes too big. Because I wasnt asked if I was ready to order, or for measurements before the dress was ordered, I end up with a dress size 22, when I wear an 6-8 in street clothes. I called my consultant very upset and worried to see if anything could be done. I was also told, thats too bad, because dresses cant be taken in that many sizes without distorting them, so for me to go ahead and sell it online. HA! for what a small fraction of what they sold it to me for?! My invoice even states ~ BRIDE WILL BE LOSING POUNDS AND INCHES DUE TO SURGERY. Well, the sweet southern charm had worn off that shiny new penny! Ive been hung up on, talked down to, lied to and threatened that they would keep my money and my dress. Ive been in tears and finally I asked management (FLO) to please help me. In my distress she had promised me that "I was in her hands now and I would be helped." Fast forward 8 days of waiting for a call back, just to be rudely and curtly scolded that either I pay for the dress or forfeit the dress and my money AGAIN! Even better ~ this was my fault for ordering too SOON! I never was asked when to place the order! It was done for me! A $3400 dress...which BEDEZZLED BRIDES BEWARE....I FOUND THE SAME DRESS FROM THE DESIGNER FOR $1250 CHEAPER. BTW ~ they dont price match either. So, do you homework, dont think its going be that "WOW" "TaDa" experience youve been dreaming of ladies. Believe me, by being in sales myself for over 20 years, they pull out all the stops and southern hospitality just to make sure you make that deposit THAT DAY or you wont get that price or you wont get that 20% "off", plus their mark-up, with is huge. As another Google review stated I guess all that service, glitz and glam, is just for the cameras my dears. Its the almighty dollar Miss Lori and staff are after. In true southern spirit, as spoken by Mr. Rhett Butler, as his last words to Scarlett OHara ~ (modified to fit)...Frankly my dears ~ they dont give a damn!

This may be a little long, but I want to give potential customers an honest portrayal of my experience at this bridal shop. My best friend called to schedule my first appointment to shop for dresses. She was asked for my budget and told the girl $1500-1800 dollars. The girl literally told her "well, our cheapest dresses are $1500 so if shes not serious about spending that money then she shouldnt waste our time, or her time." Kinda rude, and weird when we watched the show later on in the week and 2 of the brides bought dresses for $1500 and it was no big deal. That should have been a red flag for me, but I was so excited about looking for a wedding dress with my friend and mom that I ignored it. We get to my appointment, the girl helping me was kinda snobby (although to be honest I wasnt surprised). I had a few ideas of what I did and didnt want, we talked about it and then it was time to tell her my budget. Once the numbers came out of my mouth it all changed. I was told I would only be able to buy a sample at that price, and I could find in them in one room. She walked off and left us to pull the dresses ourselves. Everybody else was getting helped by their associate, I felt like a total loser for even being there. I wanted to leave before the appointment was over, but I think Monty saw how frustrated my little group was and came over to help. We ended up buying a dress, but it wasnt perfect. I wanted to change the skirt, and there just so happened to be a trunk show that day so we were able to talk to one of the designers about it. I was told Id have to pay a fee to change the skirt but what I wanted was definitely do-able. So the dress was ordered and I was (relatively) happy. I get to the first fitting and was so disappointed in the dress. It was missing a flower that was supposed to be in the back, there was a weird sash that was added, and the worst of all offense: the train was still on the skirt. I wanted to cry, and I actually did in the dressing room. I finally worked up the courage to tell them the dress was wrong. The first two things I could live with, but the train made me crazy. They told me they would fix the train no problem, but a week later called to say I had to pay for it. WHAT?! Great, so I get to pay for someone elses mistake. I brought this up and was basically told "the designer would have never told you the train could be taken off during the original production of the dress." I was basically called a liar. I know what I was told, and my mother and my best friend were right there with me when I talked to the designer about it. Ive never once felt like they cared about me at Bridals by Lori, and I completely regret buying my wedding dress from them, and will never ever recommend them to anyone, unless what theyre looking for is awful customer service. Its pretty unbelievable that this is the customer service you receive after spending almost $4000, which is what Ive paid when all is said and done. Choosing Bridals by Lori was easily the worst decision I made during my entire wedding process.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!! That pretty much sums up our visit to Bridals by Lori. I suggested this store to my friend who is getting married in September of 2017. When we arrived, we met our consultant, who immediately went into detail with the process of ordering a wedding dress, the time involved to receive a dress, the cost of alterations, etc. Finally after about 15 minutes of this, she got around to asking what type of dress we were looking for and if we had any pictures we could show her. After glancing at the pictures, she the pointed to the various rooms and told us to pull 9 or 10 dresses. She gave us no direction as to where to find the styles we were interested in and offered us no assistance at all. Once we had pulled several dresses, she took us back to a dressing room, had me and the maid of honor sit in chairs while she went into the room with the bride. Once in the room, she simple handed the dress to my friend, and told her to "step in". She did not even try to help her get the dress on. Once it was on, the first dress was obviously too big, the consultant never even offered a clip to try to tighten the fit to show how it would look in the appropriate size. After my friend showed us the dress (which looked horrible due to the size), she went back into the room. Once again, the consultant offered no assistance in removing the dress, simply put it on a hanger and handed over another dress with the same instructions, "step in". This dress was too small, so once the bride had the dress in place, the consultant zipped it as far as possible and told the bride to go out and show her friends. This dress was strapless and since it was not zipped, it was standing out from the top about two inches, so you could clearly see down the top of the dress. At this point, the bride had had enough. She was clearly upset and ready to leave. Since this was suppose to be a special and fun day, I did request to see a manager. Thank goodness for Robin and Flo. (Thats the only reason, I am giving two stars for this review.) They were very gracious and apologetic. Flo took over the appointment and really tried her best to salvage the afternoon. However, because of the treatment of the first consultant, our appointment was ruined. Even though the bride did find one dress that she loved, she will not be purchasing anything from this shop due to the bad customer service. I would not recommend Bridals by Lori to anyone unless you can get a guaranteed appointment with Flo or Robin. The entire atmosphere in the store is nothing like what it appears to be on SYTTD.
