Visited that store recently to purchase an item and as I was checking it out I observed I was being watched and followed by their plain clothes CHEAP (Rent-A-Security). I dont want to assume it was because I was a black man that I started receiving that special treatment amongst the many other customers in the store (Yeah Right). I kept my cool and continued to browse and even bought the item I was looking for. However sometime later I thought to myself I paid them money and was treated like some potential criminal. I returned my purchase for a refund (The only good thing that happened because my money has value) and told them why. Off course I will never be entering that store again. That was the only store on that entire strip where I observed that behavior from their employees. Thanks for the Nordstrom Experience: People of colour beware.

Nice brands for a good price. I shop almost exclusively here, and the experience is comparable to a TJ Maxx or Marshalls, but the store tends to be much cleaner and better organized. The staff there are much like the staff at any retail clothing store, and customer service skills vary from person to person, but theyve all been friendly and professional. Im not sure that the experience the previous reviewer gave was entirely fair. Im a white male and the security watches me when Im there too. Its their job. I must admit that when I visit right after work, dressed in a suit, I dont draw nearly as much attention from them as I do when Im in jeans and a t-shirt, but Ive found this to be a pretty common theme among retail store security in general.

This store has an employee mafia in it. I went this past labor day weekend and found a pair of shoes I liked, their normal price is usually $550 but they had a special sale which marked them down to $150, so I took one of the shoes to try fitting it and when I went back to take the other one there was a couple of employees with the box in their hands and they said the shoes were not longer available. So that explains why the brand names such as Ferragamo never make it to the market, as soon as they are available employees take them probably to sell them on ebay. That sucks!!!!

It was horrible when we were checking out we were harassed by an employee named Elizabeth who was trying to get us to donate to a charity and when we said no she made us feel guilty by telling us how great she is so the experience was horrible.

Great deals, if you can find them. If you see something youre like this is a great place to shop. But they dont always have all the sizes of all items, thats just the nature of this particular store type.
