So heres the thing. I was fortunate enough to have a great experience walking into the store. Friendly staff. Extremely patient. I spent more than 3 hours in that store literally buying sets for every room in my apartment. Unfortunately it went down hill once I swipped my card. I was told the delivery service woul move my old furniture and install the new one. Delivery touch ANYTHING. I moved the bed room furniture by myself with my mom. Remind you Im 5"3 and my mom is right about the same height. We dont pick much heavy things up. None the less we did. They were meant to build my bed set (they did) and then deliver my couches. They left my couches outside on a raining day on the first floor and Im on the fourth. While all this is happening, trying to reach rooms to go agents was a hustle. Oh and dont get me started on the attitude of the drivers. ( I spent 600 dollars for delivery for this one day. 300 for drivers who didnt do anything. And 300 for College Hunks who had to do the couches that the initial delivery guys didnt deliver!!!) THAT WAS JUST ONE DAY! The following day my dining set was meant to be delivered along side my coffee table, side piece, and lamp. They brought in the completely wrong chairs for the dining table. Four correct. Two not correct. On top of that, the company rooms to go used to deliver this day didnt (not allowed to- company policy) build my coffee table and side pieces. ( I paid another 200 for deliver---- all suggested and picked from rooms to go) So now Im thinking what could get worse? My chairs were meant to be deliver the following Wednesday. Its Wednesday today.... NOTHING. I get a call from rooms to go headquarters for feedback and I had to tell them that I received nothing! They then check the system and tell me the deliver was rescheduled. NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME THAT!!!!! I wasted a whole day waiting for a deliver that had been cancelled without my knowledge. And then now I have to wait till Friday. What will be the next excuse? Honestly this isnt in detail of what happened. I didnt say what health condistions I have to have been carrying the things that they were responsible for. I could have been in hospital. Im sharing this long thing because I spent 10,000$ in Rooms To Go and ended up with the worst experience after they took my money. I dont think they care (although they refunded me 200$ I have yet to see in my account). You can find a better place to buy your stuff. I had no trouble three years ago when I bought what was in my apartment before buying from rooms to go. Places like Cort and IKEA. I loved rooms to go when I walked in and was expecting better service and treatment once I purchased and received the complete opposite. It sucks and I wish i didnt have to write this review. But unfortunately I am utterly disappointed. Do better.

I ordered a tempurpedic mattress, bunkie board, and mattress protector to be delivered to my home. I was told they would arrive from 1-5 on a friday. At 4PM I received a call asking how my delivery went. I had yet to have my items delivered. They told me they forgot to put the mattress on the delivery truck and that apparently I told the delivery driver when he showed up at my door that it was okay. I never told anyone this nor did anyone show up at my door. All lies. The store, North Dale Mabry and 275 location, said that they could not just go back to the warehouse and re-deliver on the same day. I had to take the afternoon off from work to wait around for nothing. Then they tried to redeliver on Saturday morning at 8AM, except they were trying to deliver to the wrong apartment. They said that I refused to answer the door. They never came to my door. When they finally arrived they did not bring the bunkie board for the bed to be put on (in place of the box spring) and wanted me to accept a mattress that I could not trust was the correct one without it being in place on the bed frame. They took the mattress back and told me they would not go back and get the missing parts and would not redeliver. I decided to cancel my order and wanted my money refund. They told me they could not do this while my mattress was still in delivery status but they refused to redeliver. I went to the store and the manager Marc refused to return the money to my card and I would have to wait until corporate to take care of it. Then the manager went on to blame me for the delivery problems. I will never shop at any rooms to go. The customer should never be blamed for the incompetency of its own company. They are shady, liars, and down right thieves. Beware of this company, you will become a victim too.

Frustratingly Dishonest. So blatantly in fact reporting it to the Federal Trade Commission was necessary. After doing business with them in the past I will not do business again with rooms to go nor would I recommend anyone else to save themselves the risk of hassle. We spent three hours of our Labor Day weekend picking out the perfect set and were ready to go. We had to correct the sales person once because the numbers simply did not add up afterward he worked on his iPad and came up with the correct price. We went through all of the paperwork showing a superb credit rating, then it happened. The salesperson backpedaled and try to slide the total on us which was over $400 more than we agreed. Conveniently the piece of paper he had written the total on he had thrown away. If that is not enough they waited in till this moment to let us know that the item had one of the couches on backorder and we would need to wait another month and a half to receive it. This was obviously a sales trick and we declined after Rooms To Go wasting our time, negatively impacting our credit and being lied to and told they were very busy and to call them if we changed our minds. Long story short the SALE was not really a sale and they attempted to trick us into purchasing something for much more than they offered it when most people would just say go ahead considering it was in the scheduling of delivery phase and to run our credit card. We will use someone else and be sure to spread the word. Rooms to go treated us like garbage and did not care. I hope that this location does not put anyone else through this. Be careful fellow consumers of these deceptive practices. Absolute Nightmare. Update: They took the liberty of opening a credit account also. Without our consent. Unbelievable.

This store has great quality in there furniture at their stores, although when you receive the furniture there are parts that are damaged, especially when buying wood furniture. The wood comes scratched, ripped and/or in loss of coloring. As for the sofas, they were shipped wrong. The worker that had been helping us put in the wrong code and sent out the wrong furniture and on top of that the worker had given us wrong information telling us that electric recliners and normal recliners were the same price, the worker had also said the the extra piece in the middle was already counted for when buying the sofas. At the end when we received the furniture it came with no middle piece or electric recliners, when we came back to the store we had to pay about $200-$400 extra for what we had originally wanted and thought we had gotten. The chairs for the tables were wobbly and lop-sided and had to be returned.The worker had also charged us 2 different shipping fees even though it was shipped the same day claiming that it was because it was a different shipping company, when we had asked the shippers they had not idea what we were talking about. We had to return the table because the wood leg was damaged, and we had to return the love seat sofa for not having the parts we asked for and we had to pay 2 different shipping orders of about $200 each . In my recommendation if you want to buy your furniture here, Good Luck! Your going to have a lot of visits from the Rooms To Go truck TRYING changing your furniture.
