Devin the roving Real Estate agent here! Being in Real Estate, Ive always admired the prime location of this place - its presence makes the area a lot more walkable and local, though a few ground floor stores (like you see in a Publix Plaza) would be even more wonderful. Now.. This is one of exceptionally few (I want to say 3) Publix Greenwise supermarkets. So whats different? Well, at this one, some other reviewers have pinpointed that its smaller, and that is definitely true, but its not exactly tiny. If there were "lite" versions of Whole Foods and Publix, and a Lite Publix and Lite Whole Foods had a baby, it would be the Publix on Azeele. Im not sure if theres anything here that Whole Foods doesnt carry, but there is a lot that you wont find anywhere except specialty food stores and Whole Foods. There is a lovely olive bar offering free samples, prepared soups, salads, and other salad bar favorites, and a small area to sit down and eat too. There is a pretty decent sized wine-selection, and maybe its just me, but the baking department seems much more extensive than usual Publix. The escalator will seem pretty cool the first few times (how it carries up the shopping carts), and the exterior of the building is also pretty trendy looking, depending on your architectural style. Overall, Im a big fan. :)

I love the store concept, but the small size of the store makes getting certian items, especially when on sale, difficult, as they sell out quickly, and do not replenish daily. On a particular visit, I needed to get Kool Aid. I looked around for a little while, and when I could not find it, I found a staff member. While standing infront of hundreds of boxes of regular cereal, I was told "this is an all organic and natural store and we do not carry things like that." Really? Corn Pops and Frosted Flakes are all natural and/or organic?? I did NOT know that. I was also advised by the bakery department that they would not make an organic cake for me, even as a special order!!!! Likewise, their meat department is not dedicated as all natural or organic. They offer about the same size organic meat/poultry cases as in a regular Publix store. The concept is great, but I can get much of what I need as organic and all natural at a local Publix, rather than taking the trek all the way into Tampa (from Riverview) just to be wowed by a pretty store design and some specialty items.

Thanks Publix for towing away my electric vehicle from your charging station and ruining my day. Your location is listed as a public charging spot but your parking policies dont even allow me to use it when I need it. Software on the car doesnt tell me what your parking policies are so I dont know until I get there. I dont get towed away from the gas pump so why should I get towed away from a charging station? Can I help it that it takes time to charge? It was an empty garage and I wasnt there for parking. I wasnt blocking anybody. I had no charge to drive around looking for other places to charge up. My EV doesnt have a reserve gas tank. An EV owner is not the type of person to make trouble in your garage. Store managers response: "Too bad, sorry". Shame on you Publix, my new last resort supermarket.

There are some really good parts about this Publix: place is clean, staff is pretty friendly, covered parking is awesome, hot/cold bar, and they have some random organic brands that most places dont carry. My gripe is really just that the selection is pretty poor due to the small size. They run out of stock for a few items more than any other grocery store than Ive been to and they dont carry enough of a variety, again due to their small size. It totally makes sense given the area and the size of the store, but that doesnt mean its not a fair gripe. If youve been to a Whole Foods, especially the one in Northdale, youll be incredibly disappointed. (I still shop here most of the time. So close to my place. And Winn Dixie isnt the best.)

Made our wedding cake incorrectly. If you are getting your wedding cake from here, make sure you triple check with them a few days before your big day to make sure they are going to make your cake to the specifications that you gave them at the consultation. Our cake was supposed to be blue, we even gave them a color photo of exactly what we wanted, but they made it a light lime green color. They were gracious to give us some money back, but this is the 2nd cake that Publix has made incorrectly, one from Greenwise and the other from another store. Publix is a great supermarket, but we will never order a cake through them again

I didnt like this Publix. I lived in many cities around Tampa and been to many Publix locations and this one is the worst. The parking is not nice at all... the 24 pack of water I needed was missing from shelf and I asked the staff to check the back for it and I waited around for more than 10 min when I gave up since I was in my lunch. They did not have the Glacier reverse osmosis water machine that you put coins in that every single Publix that I have ever been to has it. I asked a staff member and I was told that this is a different kind of Publix. No thanks.

The Best Grocery Store Ive Ever Been To Sometimes when Im in a bad mood I just go to Greenwise Publix because its awesome. Amazing health food selection, and I eat from their salad bar/ hot bar at least 2 times a week. Great wine selection and everyone is super friendly. Beautiful store too, its the classiest grocery store Ive ever seen its like a designer version of the already great Publix.

A great and fairly tony convenience store but they keep discontinuing the core items we live on. Management does not listen - platitudes. For example, my entire neighborhood has to drive to Whole Foods for plain YoBaby yogurt since this place wont stock it. Also discontinued most Amys veggie burgers. Have to shop at Whole Foods now.

This publix is the best ever. I visited a few times while staying in Tampa after my Heart Transplant. I really wish they had one of these in Jacksonville. And also a Sweet Bay in jacksonville or orange park, instead of food lion. = ( All we have is whole foods and some other places.

This is probably the best Publix in Tampa. Its odd that its listed in Google Maps as a regular Supermarket, when its one of only three of Publix GreenWise Markets in the country. Whole Foods is in for some heavy competition.
