This place is classless. Always screw your sub up, takes 90 minutes to make an online order, and the deli is very rude when you ask them politely to do your order correctly. Management was told about their deli issue, did nothing to fix it. Publix corporate is classless, and will run you around if you try to apply at their outdated, 1970s application system. My friend calls their office daily trying to get them to reset his screename (they expect you to remember a temporary screename you made 5 years ago), and they either tell him to screw off ("just go try again"...ya, we did, 5 times), run him to non-existent, old lines, run him to lines of other departments that wont/cant fix it (they should know what their departments do), or flat out hang up! Despicable people working at that office, who hired them? Probably one of their ilk. If this is how they treat people looking for a SECOND job, I wonder what Publix employees do to people living off welfare on the weekends...maybe drive around breaking their legs with a baseball bat? I mean, this guy wants a SECOND job. From the bottom of my heart, Publix, screw you

Ive shopped at Publix for 20 years, mostly at Neptune (2000-2008) and then Greenwise South Tampa (2008-2017). Moved to Harbour Island, now shop at Bayshore, the store is several levels below Publix quality in terms of customer service. Managers talking at Customer Service, as cashiers are overloaded, or talking outside. But heres whats more important: the Deli Dept., in addition to being slow (several people talking to themselves as customers wait, never, ever, using the ticket system for customers) is FILTHY. Look at the slicers, look at the floor. A customer associate who occasionally works there, whom I got to know at Greenwise, said: "I wouldnt eat anything from that deli...theyve got filth everywhere..." Folks on Harbour Island have no choice, for the most part: they have a monopoly, its a food ghetto. But now I drive to Greenwise, or even Neptune, where shopping is a pleasure. Shopping at Bayshore is nasty, brutish and filthy.

Went in tonight and first off Haley in the bakery was above and beyond on my orders for sweets and a cake order to pickup Wednesday. Just outstanding. Then at check out i have a huge two buggie order and Trish smiled the whole time was friendly and helpful with my request to bag certain items in by themselves she was above and beyond had two great guys come to help one was named Troy the other Oviedo they was so kind and helpful had three buggies leaving and they pushed my buggies out for me and helped load into car the whole team was outstanding and really made my night. These people all went above and beyond customer service expectations and I am super picky so for me to say it they need raises. They all handled themselves professionally and efficiently they were super courteous and kind with smiles. Thank you again will be shopping here on a regular basis due to your amazing employees.

This is a last resort store for our family, even though it is the closest grocery store to our home. We have not had an overall good customer service experience there and fresh produce selection always seems to be limited, even sub-par, compared to other stores in the area. The checkout experience is rarely consistent and the last time I was there the associate was more interested in having a social conversation with a co-worker rather than me. When she finished cashing me out, she never said a word to me. People working the sales aisles have not been very welcoming or helpful the last couple times Ive been there. Surprisingly, the people at the Walmart Market in a less nicer side of town are almost always kind and helpful. We prefer other Publix stores or the Winn-Dixie on Swann.

I normally brag about publixs, but I feel like Im in Walmart with this one downtown. The customer service is terrible! The shelves are never fully stocked, takes FOREVER to get meat from the deli, all the employees are moving in slow motion and conversating to each other about their lives, the layout is confusing-cant ever find what I need and God forbid someone ask if I need help. If it wasnt the only one near me, Id never go back. 2 star just because the food is still great. Shame shame.

Great publix store for all my groceries shopping. Conveniently located in downtown, this publix is my go-to place for all household shopping needs. And I havent been disappointed to date. Love their offers and discounts. The quality of food/materials of Publix Brand are superior than the quality of local brands at other shopping stores like Winn-Dixie or at Walmart in my opinion. In-store deli place and bakery place are hugely popular too. Love the flan at the bakery.

Overall I really like this Publix, genuinely friendly staff, efficient checkout experience. However, the deli/sub shop is a complete mess. I really liked it at first when I discovered their gluten free wraps were an option- I have Celiac Disease. The issue comes from my online order hardly ever being ready, to them thinking my gluten-free request is just that- a request. They also have the people who do not speak very good english taking orders, which doesnt help.

Super convenient and fair prices. I love Publix in general. Issue with this store is its so cramped in there and it always feels like a hot mess of people, especially on the weekends. I realize its a downtown grocery and it comes with the territory... As in the many other urban groceries Ive been to in other cities, they should have smaller carts to make maneuvering the place much less stressful.

The worst Publix I have ever been to. Nasty produce, empty shelves, misleading ads and signage, over priced, terrible parking, mispriced and out of stock sale items, ignorant upper store management and the slowest checkout you could ever imagine. If it werent for no other grocery stores until Soho, this location would be a black eye on Publix reputation.

Went here for a sub on my lunch break. The woman making sandwiches spoke almost zero english, everytime i asked for something she had to ask the other attendant what i was asking for. She did not know what a mojo pork sandwich was... this was after the 20 minutes I waited in line. Probably worst publix Ive been to. Service is always extremely slow.

I always go to this Publix. They always seems friendly and clean.. But seriously?.. I cant have my bestfriend frankie inside anymore. We always go to this publix to get some groceries and a man said I cant have your dog in my store. :( As a service dog, which I always go there but now we cant anymore... :(

I normally love Publix stores. This one usually has a pretty bad selection of produce compared to other Tampa locations, and frequently I pass on veggies here because they dont look fresh. One highlight of this store is the butcher section, they are very helpful and can usually get you any cuts you want.

Clean with friendly staff and well-stocked shelves. Lots of healthy options in the deli, fresh sushi & breads, cut fruit to snack on. Would love a drink bar, some fresh coffee, but was a good place to stop and grab some snacks, free wifi, and free parking to wait for a meeting in downtown Tampa.

This, like most Publix stores, is very nice, with helpful staff. Its a smaller location, so not quite as much selection on the shelves. Getting into the parking lot is a challenge, and getting out, because it is at a corner surrounded by all one streets that dont play well with each other.
