What a horrible place. I wish i could give it less stars. As my family was walking into this publix we noticed a dog in a hot car barking a lot. When we went in we went straight to the service desk to notify them of the dog in the hot car. The lady at the desk was beyond rude. First words out her mouth was "did you call the police. We cant. " We told her no we didnt and asked if she could and still we were refused. Then we asked if they could atleast make an announcement over the store to notify the owner of the vehicle and dog. They said they couldnt do that either. Frustrated we walked away from the service desk and found a manager. We proceeded to tell him what was going on and asked if he could make an announcement or call the police considering it is their parking lot. He told us what we wanted to hear and walked away. Sadly he didnt make any call and walked to the first cashier station and cut through to produce. Not calling anyone. In the time it took to ask someone the owner of the vehicle had come out and left. Where is the humanity in this company. Talked to two people at the service desk and nothing was done. Also talked to a manager and nothing done. Very sad. I will never shop at a publix again if this your protocol when it comes to animals left in cars. What if this was a child. Would you follow the same protocol?

I am all about Publix, and their subs! I love this chain of grocery stores, its so much better than your average store. Its like a happy medium from other "meh" chains and Whole Paycheck, oops, I misspelled "Whole Foods". The people are friendlier, they have a whole separate station to make you samples of a whole meal...the sandwiches are perfect for on the go, beach trips, or when youre too lazy to cook all the rest of the food in the store. I only wish their baked goods had more selection. Or it would be great if they had more single servings of cakes and dishes, or just smaller servings so one can have a dessert treat for just that evening, without buying an entire cake. If they had a drive-thru pharmacy, I also would entertain the idea of bringing my prescriptions over here too. Publix is great though, coming from up in the Midwest, we didnt have much in the middle like this. although it is comparable to a Marianos if youve lived in the Chicago area like we have, but not quite on that level. We will be back, as usual, until we move to St. Pete, then it will be a different location. Can someone tell me why the liquor store for them is totally separate though? Why wouldnt it be connected through the store? Why do you need to go outside and in a separate entrance? Odd to me.

First of all, I absolutely love Publix, but this store is one of the worst Ive seen as far as food quality. The eggs are always broken, the cake I got from the bakery tasted like it was a week old. The staff is friendly but when your store has 10+ egg crates with broken eggs on a daily basis, youve got problems. I was also very surprised when I went to order the Buccaneers sub at the deli and the lady had no clue what I was even talking about and didnt even bother to tell me they no longer have the meat that is served on that sandwich. They took the initiative to choose my substitution instead of giving me options.

Sara, and Clarissa from the deli had the best customer service! I visited the deli twice in one week. My first week I had Clarissa help me, she was extremely helpful, and patient with me! Never once showed annoyance, or stressed. The deli was packed and she still did a great job! The second visit I had Sara, Sara was so sweet! She absolutely had the best customer service in publix! She made every sandwich I ordered the exact way I wanted it and even marked the bags to let me know which one was mine and which one was my grandparents! Thank you Sara and Clarissa.

This is a really great Publix. Its very clean and has a really good selection of products. It even has a very good natural foods organic section up front. One thing for sure about Publix their service is always excellent. Ask somebody where something is and then Ill walk you to it rather than just pointing. Ive also had several returns have had to do over the years that were a little bit unusual but got no flak from them whatsoever. It does get crowded sometimes but when it does they have every register open and get you out as quick as possible.

iItt is not uncommon to wait for MORE than 30 minutes for a sandwich, even when they are not that many people in line. The deli staff apparently is not allowed to service Cross counter. In other words someone working cutting the deli items is not allowed to make a sandwich when theyre backed up. Therefore frequently there will be 2 to 3 people standing around doing nothing, while the sandwich line is backed up. Also many of the deli workers sit and chat rather than working. This deli is abysmal

This publix deli is terrible. I just waited over 15 minutes for them to even start making my sandwich. I was told by each and every employee in the deli "maam someone will be with you in a minute." a total of 6 times I was told this. Not in a nice way, but in a "were too busy to help you" way. Even the manager, Rachel said this instead of actually helping me. Never going back, its a shame to because theyre right by my work, but I have to spend my entire hour to get a simple sandwich.

This could be a 5 star Publix but the smoking in the front and sides of the store is disgusting. 90 percent of the time I have to breath in smoke in order to shop there. Its disgusting and management does not seem to care. There is no enforcement of the customers smoking by the doors and the employees who smoke on the sides. It should only be in the back of the store. Have some respect for the majority of your customers who do not smoke. I wont be shopping at this Publix again.

Worse publix Ive ever been too. Never have I ever had such bad service at a grocery store. Its ironic how the cashier "Zen" was so not Zen. Chick had an attitude problem. Poor publix customers. I will never come here again. Horrible. Publix on waters and handy hands down the best. I wouldnt even give this publix 1 star. So sad considering publix is known for their "customer service" I guess this one forgot what they stand for.

This store is always busy. The Cashiers do a good job. Deli is always fresh. That was the good part. They produce is always rotten. When I go to the meat counter to buy my family food. I get trailed for shop lifting. seriously I spin $500 amonth at this food chain. Milk does not last long. Got two subscription at pharmacy and have to wait for it to come next day. then I feel they have attitude. Dont like this Publix.
